No, matched betting is by definition not gambling, and anyone trying to deny people - whether in debt or not - the chance to make thousands of pounds is not being particularly helpful.
For some people there seems to be a huge stigma attached to betting and that's up to them, but I think of matched betting as a very lucrative second (or for some people main) job which can be done from home, has very flexible hours, no boss to annoy you and no tax to pay on your earnings.0 -

And to me it seems to be significantly more profitable than e-bay (well I dont have much worth anything), pigsback/quidco searches etc. Its easier than a second job because if nothing else I can do it while watching TV in my PJs and drinking alcohol/eating chocolate biscuits.
Personally I couldnt make an income from it but its a nice extra income that should help me pay off my car loan and then pay for a new bathroom (then being DF of course). The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

And if anybody needs the practice and cleaning things seems to work - my car could do with a wash and I will rent it out for cleaning if required.
Please supply own cleaning materialsThe early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

Yes and without wanting to knock eBaying which seems to help many people here, in a way it can be a bit of a gamble in itself with dodgy buyers etc.jessicamb wrote:if nothing else I can do it while watching TV in my PJs and drinking alcohol/eating chocolate biscuits.
