    prob not relevant but in case anyone is just browsing...AOL doing same thing.
    I was on silver bb package at 17.99 (been with aol since forever!) i phoned them and it took no effort at all to get a free wireless router (i said my friend has a wireless router i want one!!!).
    Also i was told if i agree to contract for 12 months (been with them 9 years - so sure 1 more ok!!) instaed of 17.99 new charge is only 14.99.
    Phoned monday am - router arrived thurs - i was quite impressed!!!

    Had the USB deivered with mine free just set it up very easy to do and set up the PS2 on it as well. Very happy hope everyone else enjoys their freebie..

    Just called up Telewest and my router should be despatched within 3 days :)
    I asked if i could connect 4 pc's to it, and was told yes providing the pc's are wirelessly equiped ( pci card or usb dongle)

    You can buy a gaming adapter but it was £50 so I just connected a RJ45 cable to the wireless router and the ps2 so I can have both on together (PS2 online and internet)..
    The lead had gone under our sofa so its not in the way.:beer:
  • hi i just phoned telewest to query where mine was as i ordered on the 24th but they said there is a problem with the routers and to go and buy one up pc world up to the value of £50 and they will reimburse me. just as i'm typing this knock on door and mine turns up

    i have a new laptop and it has satellite , can anyone tell me how to or what i do to go on the internet using this feature, i have tried it and got onto a network called LINKSY which is not a secure network, i am with telewest and will be applying for the FREE w router and adaptor, but i just wondered if i had to use telewest for the satallite, bit of a query i know but i don't have the foggiest idea wot to do??:confused::confused::o
  • hi hubby got his the other day but he didnt get the usb adapter he rang them today to ask and thay said he had to buy it for 20 quid off them did those of you who got the usb adapter get it free with the router or did you pay for it seperate
