Telewest (Blueyonder BB) Free wireless router

Hi,
A friend said the other day that telewest were giving away free wireless routers, he had phoned and they sent him one no questions asked.
So I rang today and asked and they put me through to customer liasons and he said I hear you want to disconnect from Blueyonder broadband because you haven't had a free router. I laughed and said in that case yes so he said ok I will pop one in the post for you.
Thought this may help someone else as the one they send is roughly worth around £46 - £50.

  • What is their number? Do you need the customer number etc, I don't have it - My Father has the documents etc, and he's away right now..

I'll denfinelty try this out, I'm currently with TW and was planning to switch to SkyBB because they were offering a free W-router.

How would I go about asking for the router? should I say because someone else got it free, or quote the sky deal?

I'm not good at negotiating, do you have any step-by-step help in asking?
  • you have to be on a certain package to get this but it is a legitimate offer. It's a Net Gear router but I'm not sure which one.

just rang them about this and you have to have 4mb broadband up to get the free router,

if your like me and are only on the 2mb, you need to upgrade to the 4mb which means taking out another 12 month contract,

if your not on broadband, its £25 a month
  • i just phoned and was told i'm eligible(wasn't last time offer was on).
    will recieve it within 72hrs.
    :j thanks op
