    Yeah - cutey isn't he.
That's 'BOO' - and unfortunately I can't go anywhere in my flat without him right by my side. lol.
Bedroom - he sleeps on my pillow, Bathroom (yes sorry) he sits on the edge of the bath or scratches and meows outside the door - so everyone knows i'm either having nookie or in the loo.
Kitchen - he literally sits right by my hands as i'm washing up.

His mummy got run over when he was 4/5 weeks old - so took him on and had to really handrear him. Bit clingy - not sure if he thinks i'm his mummy or his missus. lol.
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!

I don't mind taking a bit of slack over my site -

It hasn't cost me anything and has bagged me a job.
(Which I won't be giving details of until I have a signed contract - don't want any other compers pinching it)

I don't mind peeps taking the micky out of my wins either - personally I think my list of wins so far this year since May is pretty good. Over £5000.
I have a happy little niece and nephew who get the toys and kiddy bits and I haven't had to buy any makeup or skincare at all this year - still going on my wins.

Every little win makes me very happy - and every win gets a good home.

I also get a lot of pleasure from the thankyou emails I get for helping newer compers.

Good luck with the job. Sounds fab for you and I hope you get it! And there's nothing wrong with your site. I've clicked through to it a few times fromTwitter and I enjoy having a look around it! :)
:AThanks to all those who post comps:A

I really enjoyed mooching your site, esp your advice section And in all honesty am a bit taken aback that forum members think it's their perogative to sit on their high horse and judge it so harshly
Then again we're all entitled to an opinion. So here's mine.

I wouldn't *dream* of being so critical of someone elses work or what prizes they'd won even in jest, esp on a forum for everyone else to see unless they all knew each other intimately which people here don't. I think it's bad manners & v.insensitive. I've never cobbled together a site, so you've done something I've never achieved.

And the cat is cute! Felines rock, all my family love them. I cat foster for a charity when I can.

Viz the pix, if you take them in broad daylight with the flash on it will eliminate the camera shake/blur ;)

That is an amazingly cute cat.

A word of advice you must ALWAYS be aware of your security especially on the Internet, there are some bad people out there.

I even use a false birthdate for some comps.

Would you walk up to a criminal in the street and give them your full name, address, date of birth, phone number & other personal details? Its like facebook why tell strangers when you won't be at home its like leaving the front door open?

Good luck with your new job interview.

Got my fingers crossed for you about the job.
You were really kind and helped me in PMs when I was new here and had a few questions. I think some people forget they were once new as well.
And I would be thrilled to have got all your wins...liking your site too. x
  • I haven't copied and pasted anything from here. Ty very much - If you bother to read my site - which you obviously haven't - you'll see that I direct people here all the time on my pages and to loquax - both free sites.

The only copy and paste is from a bit of the simply prizes free online list - which I clearly refer to in the first sentence on that page.

All my site does is point newbies to comping in the right directions.

Well done on the potential job. Out of interest on the copying and pasting note, will the new site you will be working on post the same comps as MSE & Loquax etc or will you be sourcing new comps? Just wondering as the two sites seem to have it covered.

How Judgemental are you???? blimey .. talk about pot kettle black!!

I sincerely hope you were not referring to me when you say "being so critical of someone elses work or what prizes they'd won even in jest"

I posted in jest about the cat and winning one, there was absolutely no malice in my post and I posted to lighten the mood ..

I suggest you take a look in the mirror before you complain about people being critical of others .. gawd your post has really wound me up the wrong way, I think thats the first time ever in all my time of being a member of MSE
