My sympathies to all those experiencing Ebay problems - I haven't had any " where are my parcel" messages (YET!!) my main issue at the moment is non-payers - I don't know how someone can just ignore you like that and not even send an email to say "sorry I've changed my mind"... I've got 3 things left listed & would have considered pulling them but they are being sold for my cousin & 2 of them have already got bids on them.
Anyway - have hit my target now so that's good plus have finished work until January (in theory at least - I know I will end up doing stuff at home but at least I don't have to leave the house)
oops nearly forgot - Have also managed to renegotiate my mortgage at a very reasonable fixed rate - will be paying less per month than I am at present so I am going to try to overpay every month. I would never have even considered this prior to my MSE days...
Sounds like good news all round to me apart from the non payers of course....Congrats on Hitting your target :TEveryday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0 -

I can't handle anymore "wheres my item" "Are you sure you posted it" "Is the snow really that bad in scotland" uhhh do you not watch the news!!!! sorry. but some people really are daft! the fact that it's a week from xmas like Jesa said too should alert people that the post will be slower than usual!
On the plus I did manage to order a reduced soap and glory tote bag saving £35! shame I don't add savings lol!
Have a good day all x
I thought I was the only one experiencing this, its really putting me off ebay, one person has opened a case against me for an item posted on the 13th!!Debt £31,184.05 - DFD - Jan 2015!!!Next target - Barclaycard £1000.00/965.29PAD from 20.12.10 ~ £1318.29NSD Challenge ~ Jan 10/10, Feb 10/10, March 10/13£365 in £365 Challenge ~ £120.06Sealed Pot Challenge member #11540 -
same regarding the ebay-ive given up. some guys kicking up as he hasnt received his item but he only paid for 1st class posting, he's demanding tracking info! I gave him the option to upgrade the postage before I sent but he said he didnt want to pay anymore than what he had to. he's also opened a case against me, nothing i can do. Whats quite upsetting though is that I crashed the car into a wall on my way to post his item! the road was just too icy and not even 5mph and 1st gear was going to stop me from crashing! sigh...2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Hi nat21lov , I only send by recorded now as paypal always refunds if there is not a tracking number. I have lost money this way several times, it's wrong but all you can do is protect yourself next time. It makes me angry that some people know this and take advantage, they have the goods but claim their money back. All you can do is brush it off but be aware in the future, no recorded no sale. I hope it turns up, things are taking longer to arrive at the momentSew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it0

read the first page, first post hun, lots of ideas there.
Surveys, daily clicks, etc. I can do referrals for some survey sites, yes, it means I earn money - well a tiny bit, but every little helps.0 -

I stopped listing on ebay about 2 weeks ago now, im not sure when to start listing again after christmas, When are you all planning to start listing again?
Im Might start up again a few days after christmas, and do 10 day listings, so they end at the beginning of Jan. I will definatley be sending everything recorded in 2011, although ive not had many items go missing, i think unfortunately more and more people are aware that sellers dont have a leg to stand on where paypal is concerned if they file a dispute.:(
Nothing to add on the moneymaking front
Supermarket savings also not going great, most things that seem to be on offer are christmas type foods, and i dont really buy much "party" food.
Food shopping has been made more difficult by the fact that my main oven has broken  luckily i have a double oven but the second oven is a combined oven / grill and is quite small in comparision to the main one, so can not cook things like a chicken/ joint in it. Thankfully we are going to mums for christmas dinner! or i would be totally stuffed :rotfl:
Ive come to the conclusion that Sh** happens ~ no point in getting stressed about it, I'll just add it to the ever growing list of things that need fixing / replacing!! :rotfl:Everyday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0 -
Was it last year when they said internet sales were the highest on Christmas Day!? People logged on to start buying things on Christmas Day as received money, etc for xmas.0
