I really want to get my eBay sales back on track but it would be too much hassle for me at the moment as some buyers don't seem to realise that you can't control the postal services. I keep getting emails at work asking "can you guarantee my parcel will arrive in time for Christmas" and "where is my parcel" (2 days after they ordered something). I wonder if some people watch the news or look outside and see the weather is bad and its 1 week til Christmas! Of course its going to take a bit longer to get things by mail!:rotfl:Doh

Oh how I would love to write that to some unreasonable people.

i used to work for a large mobile fone company in the business department and on the day and day after the london bombs, i got fone calls asking where is my replacement/new handset, and they just couldnt understand that London was basically shut, and that no postal service was getting in or out --- the blimmin idiots where in London too! Never got 1 call from people outside London, im assuming that they watched the news and understood what 'London shut down' would mean!

Good luck everyone! Ive just found this and might try it out in January as i have £3000 CC to pay off (£2k is interest!!!)

Just found an 'export' button on the banks website, downloaded 2 months of statements and put everything into categories. Never mind make £10 a day - more like spend £10 a day on carp/lunch/magazines!!! I need to take lunch in from home, starting now! Wish I'd done that before, now I know where I'm going wrong!

My OH got one of natwest new style annual statements yesterday, god they are amazing, they tell you so much info, they come like a booklet, tell you which months you paid in less than you spent, vice versa, listed how much in total he'd spent in say tescos over the year, basically instead of a normal itemised statement, purchases where grouped together, and it was full of statistics ie : a third of your purchases have been spent at tesco ect.

Im dreading it incase i get one ~ dont think mine would get through the letter box  but i dont think everyone is getting them. more of a trial thing i think, but i think its a brilliant idea.

I can't handle anymore "wheres my item" "Are you sure you posted it" "Is the snow really that bad in scotland" uhhh do you not watch the news!!!! sorry. but some people really are daft! the fact that it's a week from xmas like Jesa said too should alert people that the post will be slower than usual!
On the plus I did manage to order a reduced soap and glory tote bag saving £35! shame I don't add savings lol!

I've just posted my last parcels and am now going to turn them off. £5.15 for that last one though so (at the moment, until the emails start) I am glad I left it until this evening :D
Also £3.19 from an Amazon parcel I sent a couple of days ago

Need to go check my total so far. Update £94.37 so far this month. Can't see it being any higher until after Christmas but I will put the listings back on boxing day

Unbelievable LolaLemon - some people really do have no idea what is going on outside of their own little worlds

    Hi all,
Not done too badly so far this month. Mainly through survey sites (Cashing in all my vouchers ect.)
Also got £50 of Argos vouchers from S*** and Scan. I have nothing left to cash in though so I don't think I am going to make much more this month but I knew December was going to be difficult.

Well done Dinah93 on your Amazon sales. I have only sold about 5 books on there in a year and by the time I have paid the postage have only made coppers.

    £57.05 Ebay + £8.00 won on a scratchcard.

My sympathies to all those experiencing Ebay problems - I haven't had any " where are my parcel" messages (YET!!) my main issue at the moment is non-payers - I don't know how someone can just ignore you like that and not even send an email to say "sorry I've changed my mind"... I've got 3 things left listed & would have considered pulling them but they are being sold for my cousin & 2 of them have already got bids on them.

Anyway - have hit my target now so that's good plus have finished work until January (in theory at least - I know I will end up doing stuff at home but at least I don't have to leave the house) :)

oops nearly forgot - Have also managed to renegotiate my mortgage at a very reasonable fixed rate - will be paying less per month than I am at present so I am going to try to overpay every month. I would never have even considered this prior to my MSE days...
