Just what I needed, because I have a 5 litre bottle of antifreeze containg 2.5 litres and I can't remember if I diluted it already or not
Do you think this thing will work on battery acid aswell?
On more question, why is one called an antifreeze tester and the other called a coolant tester?0 -

Question (1) No idea...;)
Question (2) Again, no idea, but possibly one is designed for washer fluid, but I am only really guessing.
Hopefully the packaging will make things clearer.:)0 -
Hope its better than the ones Halfords sold and had to recall, When one buyer rinsed it in plain water and got the
same reading as the antifreeze he tested.
Worth checking?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Worth checking?
At least it isn't at Halfrauds outrageous prices.0 -
I test my antifreeze by taking a sample out of the radiator and putting it in the deep freeze, if it does not freeze when left in for 6 hours its ok.0

at a guess i would say no to battery testing,it needs to be a refractometer to do this and at 99p i doubt it.0 -

1 will give the boiling point figure for coolant purposes in summer the other will give the anti freeze protection figure for winter months.0 -

Well no, it just has to be a hydrometer, which is what it is. I used to have a hydrometer that had a scale for acid as well as a scale for coolant.0 -
According to my last service, the garage said my antifreeze will only protect down to -17c. And that was 7 month ago.

Just a reminder that these should be in stock today, along with other motoring stuff.;)0
