I got mine today, I must admit to being surprised they were able to honour these. First time I've been successful with an MSE grabbit. Thanks again to the OP.

I ordered 4 boxes on 28th November, received a despatch notice on 30th and they arrived today 1st December according to my hubbie who is under strict instructions not to open the box up at all. I have been away for 4 1/2 weeks as my Mam is in hospital/care home and he is working his way through the freezers and cupboards eating and drinking everything in sight. He promised not to open them, even though he knew straight away what they were with Thorntons written in big letters on the box he said, but there again he said that about the 2 x litre bottles of Bells whisky I asked him to get at the weekend for Christmas when they were on offer at Asda for £12 each, and he has drank one of the bottles already :mad: :mad:

Whilst not expecting these to turn up today (with the bad weather), according to Hermes they are "out for delivery" - what time do they deliver up until???

Any time really. I always get the same man deliver Thorntons to me, he is a home delivery guy who delivers for lots of companies and works to his own time schedule in his own little van. I will not get my delivery until the snow clears as I know he will not come while it is like this.

I'm not expecting them to turn up today/tonight now anyway & never was.
My complaint is that yes, I understand the weather is bad, a foot of snow here,
but the weather was bad at 6.12am this morning when they updated the tracking to "out for delivery".

For all they know, I could have had to make sure that somebody else was in to receive this item.
And all their website says is to contact the retailer..... who will then say it's tracking says it's out for delivery.
They shouldn't put things on the tracking that aren't going to happen.

They are back to £10 now. Confusingly, the website does not state the weight of the box, but does state it is £10 and £1.55 per 100g, that's not correct is it?

I got my 6 boxes yesterday, I've a good mind to complain that the price per 100g is misleading lol

My 10 boxes turned up today.......They worked out under 2.40 a box
