Yes but they do have a 7 day price promise (which they did honour) and it was this point I was asking about if it would apply- so I am very happy with that!

Yes it did work Russel :j Many thanks for all the very helpful replies.

Just to update. I went to the store and they honoured the difference-minus a £5 coupon I had used as the manager said they would only honour 1 discount/offer. They did not give me the 10% difference as it was it's own store but they did refund £55 so I am very happy with that outcome.

So praise where it is due. Many thanks to Currys for deliverying this time for me :T
