Presumably he's got a phone number for you? I'd leave it til he calls you - unless you're going to sit and worry about it, in which case take a deep breath and ring him first! He's probably jsut cancelling your meeting tomorrow...

Hello Pippi and everyone, here you are!! I thought things had gone eerily quiet but now I've found you, yay :):)

Brrr to the snowy pictures everywhere, I'm sitting in my cold house (only put the heating on when DD's in situ), wearing my snuggly new ski snood thing round my neck and face (tube of fleece, glad it was cheap on ebay!) and it's amazing how it's helping keep me warm :)

Still no snow here, yay, but very icy and cold by my soft southern standards.

Cheery I texted him :) no reply can't have been that important

    KK - I love snoodythings - :) keep warm - glad you've found us - I had a sabbatical for um about a day - couldn't stay away!

I've dug out a pile of my seeds - (inspired by saving the butternut squash - I thought I need to get all my seeds in one place - um I have a few - I also bought a pile of those tiny seed envelopes from ebay before we moved - where are they?? Not sure at the moment......................lol

I'm thinking about ebay etc - only thinking about it though. I might need a boot up the 'arris - can't decide if I have the *time* for it or not at the mo - might be better to focus energy into writing thesis eh?

Daft question. I have pumpkin seeds saved. Planned to toast them to add to soup. Any other ideas of what to do with them?

  • Oh I don't know - I like them baked on or in home made bread - roasted are nice - keep a couple for growing (I would say that wouldn't I?)

I'm sure someone will have a better answer soon - glad your doctor listened to you - sorry to hear about your pal x (())

Pumpkin seeds are especially recommended for me with the arthritis - I just sprinkle them on the oats that I soak overnight to eat for breakfast.

hello, hope all is well in stripey land. Tis brrurry cold here, so i had to get OH to rescue my boots from the shed at the lottie so i can get into work with out it taking me 25 mins to do a 10-15 min walk.
I'm going to try and not spend my entire evening on here vainly looking for someone to talk to, think i'll do some more knitting on OH's hot water bottle cover and get an early night.
