Morning all - thank you for the welcome backs!

Cheery in this house indeed - very lovely to come home and to a cosy well looked after house!

Casserole on, car unpacked early thanks to cheery, stripey shop in the cupboard, pancake in my tummy (thank you cheery!) washing machine on, peedie on the sofa - got my work out - going to work for 3 hours and crack on later. Kids home 3.20 woo hoo.

Chaps out with the car - they had a lot of nonsense from the pesky darwin - who was naughty pesky and clearly was sulking!

    Naughty naughty naughty.

Glanced at cc and bank - not too evil - not much in way of money out except travelling.

Unixgirl, sorry to hear that you are having such a touch time. I gather from previous posts that this issue with this female is more that is going to break the camels back regarding your relationship with your OH, than something that wlll start it disintegrating. Is that right or am i off the mark? Sometimes you have to say enough and just stop. Can you go somewhere neutral just to get away from the stress so that you can get some perspective on things? we are all here to support you in whatever you do.

Pippi and Cheery glad you had some great times over xmas and new year

  • Morning!

Cheery gone now - very odd waving her and mr c off

Thank you for all the lovely wishes - chev I do wonder what this year will bring - I want it happier thats for sure - just back from a haul at the co-op (nowt open here but the co-op) (cheese, pate, pork, pastrami, cream and milk) - all now chopped and bagged into the freezer.

DD and ds back - dd planning physics homework and a cheesecake later, ds on his pc as his essay is done!

Lovely visitors popped in last night - a lovely bit of new year cheer and a mini-celidh for cheery and mr c to go off with a wee dram and a blether and of course tea.

    :) today

    work
    banking to check out
check out what to do for dd trip on the 15th
    bit of hc
    fed bird table
trip to the beach I think

Bit of a tidy up - alot of work (4 month left) - not much more I think.

  • Just fed the hens the xmas (gone off) puddings and the salad from NY lunch - we brought home a pile of leftovers in the car - having stashed everything from the peelings on xmas day to any leftovers into bags in the freezer and then brought them home. They've a fair bit to get through but they'll love it!

Well travelled leftovers - hens loving them though...............cheery has them well trained - they are lurking out the window - under the birdtable, the other side of the fence - which is nice a fun -I think we'll try feeding them more scraps there and that way they might walk about the front field more!

DD making cheesecake - how lovely to hear family noises in the house again.

:) hope you're all fine, missed you all - nice to be back at home - I've been inspired by cheery to make a few goals and try and get through the next 4 months of thesis. Very much to do - not alot of time - final dash right enough!
