EDIT - just seen the post above and went to the link, which mentions "how empty can you keep your bin".... I know that I used to have only one supermarket bag of rubbish a week - I have twice that now, I know. I don't quite know why? I think I'll keep a log after the end of the holiday period of what I actually throw away.

That's a bit of a shocker KC - I usually have less than that... ;)

Though this week has been bad as I've stocked up on breakfast cereal. Most of my waste has been breakfast cereal boxes.

Hmm, are you serious, with those smilies?

Ha! You put breakfast cereal boxes in the landfill? Bad Z! Mine has lots of plastic bags that contained food - oats, cornflakes, cheese, frozen veg; boxy type things are the margarine tub ... I'm definitely going to do an audit.

I use mine for packaging and making parcels - :) - then again I do post off alot of plants and we don't each much cereal.

When I remember of course ;) - but then again - our rubbish goes up 'north' and is burnt for heat - so when I did chuck things out - I felt OK cos I was keeping someone else warm.

Its a worry all of this isn't it?

Another thing to attack when I'm at home working proper.

Another book sold on amazon but I've cancelled it and put myself on holiday - I can't guarantee delivery at the moment - best off me thinks.

I feel a nice new year challenge coming on - I'd be up for that.

Bit like the grocery challenge but for your bin.

Serious moi? It's more the fact that I don't recycle anything but glass, and you're a greeny, and I *still* throw less away than you...:eek::eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl:

Absolutely. Ever since those councils were caught dumping the recycling into the same landfill as the rest of the stuff, I haven't bothered.

Food goes to the worms. Except meat, but I eat everything when I do meat.

Stealth worms at the moment though - keeping a very low profile in this weather....

Everyone needs to touch a hippy :D

We've not got one *yet* its on my list - more *productive* pets to have.

Any worms (outwith the intestinal tract) is good in my book, well aside from NZ flatworm, We've an issue with NZ flatworm here - which is why I sell everything bare-rooted when I sell plants.

You got those in your area?
