Ooh I want one of those too
Its just too beautiful - I wanted an iphone and took ages to finally cave in and get one (free with cashback via quidco and a O2 deal ages ago)
And, I love it - even still.
I've really wrestled with this one - I don't *need* anything really - a greenhouse would be nice but not practical here, we'll wait til we move - I don't need anything very much at all to be honest - a new lens for my camera would be nice - but I'm not desperate or anything - not really much of a consumer but sometimes I just want something (often not cheap) and I can't explain why I just do.
Daft really.
Darwin wants one too - I'm only really asking to keep him happy. He told me it would be fun to have one for the odd adventure.........Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Oooh and me and me.
OH loves Apple and I have snaffled his macbook. I also use a macbook when out and about with work to do video messaging. Love it and I am converted. I would really like to be able to buy OH an iphone for Christmas, no chance of that though.
Nothing wrong with being a bit ungreen(whatever the word is) sometimes and anyway, it will help you with your writing because when you are out and about and feel inspired then you can just whip out the ipad and write.

Cheri - there are some good deals out there but you only get a free phone with a contract I think
I won't be able to write on it (good idea though) I'll be too busy gazing at it and hugging and stroking it.I'm very very sad.
Right got to finish a discussion section tonight got to got to got to.

It's funny, I can understand lusting after the iPhone completely - I did, and lasted 6 months before caving completely, and I am SO glad I gave in! Love my iPhone and wouldn't want to be without it now. The iPad though I just don't "get" somehow. I'd rather have an all singing, all dancing laptop!
Really hope that Santa listens though Pippi and that you get one!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I know a few people that don't get the iPad thing...... until they have had a play on one for 15 minutes, and then they are hooked:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
i don't get it either, but then i don't have a i-phone, i-touch or an i-pod. I do have a MP3 player that i never use and was such a waste of a lot of money. OH is desparate for an ipod-touch which i would get him if i could afford it but i just can't find that money. What i'd like is a bodybugg or the UK equivalent but again that's a lot of money for a very expensive gadget that i worry that i just won't use enough to justify it.
I hope Santa thinks you've been a very good girl and you get your i-pad pippi.0 -

I dunno why I want one - I just do - had a play on one and OMG I loved it
Very visual bits of kit I think - maybe its the dyslexia thing - maybe its just lust.
I never want gadgets normally - Matymoo -for working for a certain fruit company
EH I know wierd eh? I've an all singing all dancing NICE laptop - maybe its the portability of the ipad - although I do think its just lust.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Morning! I was desperate to know what it was that you wanted, because you took the link down, aargh! But I can gather from the conversation, you want an ipad? Is that right? I don't see why you shouldn't, Pippi, honestly, even from the green perspective - okay, you have a laptop already, but I just think there's something to be said for the huge amount of paperwork and shuffling it all around that we (and businesses) no longer need to do because we have electronic links. And if, as I suspect, your well paid future work lies in income from the web, then the more resources you have the better.
Does that make you feel less guilty?
And besides, they're funand you like them!
