Onions planted! What kind are they Unix? Forgot to ask, sorry if you said already :o

Good idea about the diary...discussing things can lighten the load and possibly give you a good perspective on things...good luck.
    :T

Just gone and ordered a laptop for myself!! DH found it online at the weekend...an incredibly good deal...and we do have the money to pay for it now. :j It has taken me a looong time to decide about this. Thought of getting one for my 50th last year, but still too pricey...but this deal is great! I had to order it by today, as part of the deal ends tonight. Still a bit scared about it all. Never had a laptop before....ever! It will be soo useful with all the stuff that I do, and always having it to hand will be great!

DH knows of someone who might want to buy the pc that I use, so that will offset the cost a bit. Everyone else has laptops in this house, so I have the pc all to myself, unless someone wants to access the external hard drive (where the DS's store a lot of music and I have my photos).

Right, off to calm down and get some work done....ooh, ordered a purple case for it too!!!

Hope the thesis is coming along OK Pippi....nearly there!

    Hey chaps

Uni go for it and start a diary!

I'm still at work - DD finishes rehearsals at 9pm so why not stay here eh.

I've the irrigation switched on and have to remember about that! Or the place will be flooded.

Doing my final check, tweak and whoops forgot to write an abstract - so got do that.

Getting there slowly. 140 pages, contents done, etc just abstract and my own checking - done all comments etc and those I couldn't do I ignored. Ridiculus changes I have not made, those types of comments have been deleted.

Reference list to format and recheck............oh and better pay rent later!

    Packed lunch and tea today
Might check for reduced stuff on the way home
    Tired but working hard!

Hope you all have nice evening!

hope you're home by now, hope you get some sleep tonight.

I've had someone round to look at something i'm selling and am left feeling as i've been judged and found wanting. Why have i been left feeling like mud? they never said anything untoward but you could tell straight away that they weren't going to buy it. It's probably got something to do with the porch, but they don't know the full story about that but i'm sure there will be comments made to others at work (the only good thing is that i'm not likely to see her at work)

LT ignore this person, people that leave you feeling like that aren't worth bothering about, chin up you don't have to see her every day (I speak from experience on this one, I live with one) :(
