Hello everyone, onions finally posted sorry for delay. Hope everyone is ok. My freezer is bursting at the seams, will need to start using things up. Made meatballs with tomato, olive and onion fusilli but made too much, will it be ok to freeze?
Oooh, onions.,..can't wait! Unix, should be no problem in freezing the meat-balls and pasta...we do it regularly here...or at least used to until DS2 stopped having so much pasta. :D We do have a few tubs of pasta & cheese sauce in the freezer though, as well as some extra cheese sauce.

We had some lovely lambs loin steaks today for tea ...very scrummy!!!! Now it looks like the bread and butter pudding is ready. I was going to use left-over heels (either do this or make them into breadcrumbs), but when I had checked, they had gone mouldy :(. Luckily in the freezer I had a bag of HM bread rolls I made last year that turned out to be like cannon-balls. Inedible unless made into pudding...very MS :D:money:

Glad to hear the word-reduction and reference-chasing is coming along well Pippi, you are so close now, well done for sticking at it!!

Hope you will have plenty of eggs while we are up....DS2 goes through lots every day!!! We will pay you for them ofcourse :)

Have a great day tomorrow, whether you have a bank holiday or not.

I have found cooked Pasta OK to freeze as long as it has enough sauce, if there isn't a lot of sauce I usually eat it the next day for lunch.

    Thanks Maty :o

It does sound busy - when you said a work day, tho, I didn't realise at first that you meant you don't get the holiday! Mind you, its very grey and bleurgh here .... not much to write home about.

wild, wet and windy again in Wales today PAH! You have been busy this morning already. Well done, amazing what a glorious day can do for your temprement. I am in Moo's bad books. Mr C away to his parents with the car and I have been under the weather so only short tootles for me and Moo this weekend. He is currently looking at me with disgust waiting to go to the forest.Little does he know that it is the park and back. Need a rocket me thinks, no energy at all at the moment.

Commenting on blogs - I'm having the same problem and can't comment on a blogger blog too, so thanks for posting it, so I know it isn't just me.

    morning
cheri - about the Approved Foods stuff, you have to keep a watch out. Obviously its mainly dried stuff and tins. I don't do tins much, but have got some decent bargains on things like rice, pasta, soya mince and packet sauces. You have to factor in the delivery, but I've occasionally got rice for 15p a packet , and bread flour for 10p, so its been worth it. You also need a lot ofi space. I mainly use it for bulking things out.

I hate meal planning, I'm more a spontaneous cook, rarely even remember to take things out of the freezer, but promise myself I'll do better.

Gosh Pippi - what a list for that early in the morning! Hope the thesis is behaving itself today!
