Cheery, thats a *very* good point, thank you - there's often a *little* bit of comparison going on in my head ..... and I do get bored with the minimalism of my life now compared with what I used to do .... still, onwards and upwards.

Thanks LT but you all seem to run such exciting lives always up to stuff that I feel a bit inadequate!!! :o low self esteem maybe??

exciting lives? i think i live the reverse of an exciting life, the height of my excitement this weekend will be racing against the rain to get the washing dry, or updating my leccy readings.

    Just in.

Starnac my life is as dull as dishwater apart from the marauding hens. They appear to be more free thinkers than I'd previously considered!!

    Off to catch up xx

Hope you have had a productive day Pippi.

Had a great day at Malvern, a bit of rain this afternoon, but it was forecast, so can't moan. I was inside at the Perennial stand, so kept nice and dry.

Only bought two plants today (very restrained for me!) - Pittosporum "Thomb Thumb" and Eucomis "Oakhurst". They both have purple foliage...definitely going through a purple patch!! There are two plants in each pot, so hopefully I will be able to split them. Also got more of my favourite gloves (Sh*wa), as well as a wire and gripple system to set up my cordon apples....here's hoping it works!

Had such a lovely time talking pants with so many people...a marvellous day. Now have to pot up sooo manu plants ths weekend...everything is going nuts here! Been very busy this week at work, so not had a chance to do any gardening other than watering during the week.

Have a great weekend everyone...hope it stays dry during the day, and rains overnight...we can but dream! :D
