i love a day in my PJ's. a guy at work thinks it's disgusting that someone would spend all day without getting dressed. i keep telling him just cos i'm in my PJ's doesn't mean i don't get my housework done. Think he used to go out with a very lazy person

LT its !!!!ing down here I'm trying my best to deter the rain for you!

    :) hello all

    Today
Very much ready for action, stripes and pigtails worn today, work is out - brekkie done (HM potato rosti, HM sage and pork sausage pattie, 2 poached eggs (not quite HM but made AT home) and a bit of toasted ciabatta. Fresh juice - 40p reduced oranges sqeezed by hand (with a lemon whotsit thing, pointy you know what I mean) made two large lovely glasses juice. Coffee - tiny sit in the garden before the torrent arrived.

Work - trying to finish discussion and tape together literature review - look over secitons - look at what references I've still to get into refworks (online ref software).

My *big* supervisor wants a full draft by monday (!) - regardless of any family stuff thats gone on (!!)

Dunno if thats achieveable but I need put something in - pigtails at the ready.

I'm going to mousebite it and pop back and forth - radio on.

Teaching tomorrow too - need a bit prep for that

Hoodwinked chickens back into their own area with food strategically placed - wait til they have my full attention - they won't win then!!!!

Hope you're all good - I thank goodness for you all - x

KC flower soup for the soul was much needed and given the weather today - I'm so glad I went last night.

Very productive day going on around here ladies.

Pippi, re the draft - it is just that - a draft. Now I have never written a thesis or whatever they are called for Phd but I write a lot of reports and papers for work. If I am ever pushed on a deadline for a draft I simply put in Headings and bullet points in the bits I cant get to and that usually satisfies by boss that I am on the right lines. I do also put notes in the margins to show rough dates for completion/x references etc. Not sure if that would work but it might be a way to present something without stressing too much. I am sure that you have loads already written. As for Boss - he mustn't have a life is all I can say.
Love the latest blog entries very interesting and lovely piccies too

Hey cheri - thank you about the blog bit :)

The way you and I think of a draft are identical.

They think DRAFT=FINAL COPY - been like it all the way through - they are pedantic in the extreme - my draft will have to have the whole lot in +reference etc and be a final rather than a draft.

I think there zero hope of it happenning but I'm giving it a go!

I'm beyond fed up with it all!

Planned teaching for tomorrow - that MORE fun!!

Nice to chat more today :)

Thank you about nice pic comment mean alot!

Go Pippi, hope your pigtails help somewhat with getting work done. Maybe i'm not getting anything done cos my hair is at the "inbetween" stage as i'm trying to grow it out. that's a good excuse i think. blame it on bad hair.

weather here can't make up it's mind, raining one minute sunny the next (haven't seen a rainbow yet though) so all clothes on airers spread between kitchen and dining room. chinese laundry eat your heart out. not looking forward to all the ironing mind :(

Aw starnac - hair inbetween is never very happy!!

You know my feeling on ironing - although I did a bit on my birthday for my wellies as I wore a frock with them.

Hope the ironing when it happens goes relatively well - telly on at same time always good!

References are a pain in the rear - I'm trying to sort mine as I read through chapters.

    Bah

Pigtails are not happy - they'd rather be out in the garden!

Not as horrific as it sounds alot of them (most I hope) are in refworks (online thingmy).

If you don't iron, think of the potential GHG savings to the planet :) and the moneysaving potential too - you'd be great on both of those.

Then you can NOT do it and feel noble.

What did you study (if you've told me before I'm sorry if I forgot!)
