Oh dear Pippi :( Silly Daddy indeed :( Your lovely DD is indeed mature and fabulous and I'm sure would cope admirably in any circumstances - but that's kind of not the point, is it? I'm sure you're right about the hotel! How ridiclous. Silly daddy indeed.

(and I did enjoy my text-a-gardener service earlier :D :rotfl:)

    That wasn't a rant...

    :grouphug:

The phone version of the rant needed no telecomunication assistance from here to central france.

    :)

It was mostly in french - at high speed!!!

    :)

Cheery I'm glad you liked texta-a-rent-a-gardener - bit like rent a ghost but more garden based!

You're now one of many who have this unlimited service

*check with your own network for service charges as networks may vary*

**other rent-a-gardener services are available but they are lessadvert free**

    :rotfl:
    and don't laugh

I had to invest in anohter box file for my seeds - I might have a few!:o

Good term, bit harder to type than muddyfinker but I like it :) Works for ALL the 'silly daddies' out there. I suppose I should be relieved that silly daddy shows no interest in seeing DD (sad but true) and she's not used to anything different, so I don't have the potentially stressful situations of DD going to places I'm not 100% happy with, but sometimes I really wish he gave a hoot about her rather than just pretending to, so that she knew what it's like to have a daddy. My dad's wonderful with her and sometimes forgets he's her granddad rather than her daddy :(

Oh well, maybe MrA or someone like him will assume a similar role one day!

Tu parles francais, Pippi? Tres bien :)

We have a tall person in our life - the kids always say thats not my dad thats my D**** - he's 100% friend/pal/helper/etc

Been to as many concerts that he can, parents evenings etc

More useful thats for sure :)

Glad you've got a grandad - just like me I'm lucky they have a 'adopted' grandad which they love too"!

sorry to hear the ex is being a twonk. Can't believe you can rant in french as well! my hat is off to you.
He's just insane if he thinks DD can travel on her own to France and stay over at a hotel. What planet does he live on? idioty-muppet land? what does he think he would do if god forbid anything happened to her, there's some proper weirdo's out there!
  • (()) thank you LT

As it is - she'll have us wierdos with her to keep her marginally insane!

Sorry to hear about your ex Pippi....what an absolute pratt!!!! I know, a much stronger version would be more fitting, but you and others else have expressed a much better level of vitriol!!

Been AWOL for a bit as seem to have developed a cold sore at the corner of my eye, feeling better now I have ointment. Spent too long @ the docs yesterday, and far too long at the eye clinic today
(3.5 hours:eek:). I have had ones in the past that have spread to the cornea...and this one's threatening. I have to go back on Friday...at 8:15am ...at least I should be seen quickly then...here's hoping! :D

:jto getting to Auld Reekie Pippi...even if it is due to c**k-*p of ex :mad:

Have a good week everyone...lots of seeds growing everywhere! :)

I think, that despite the Muppets having people's hands shoved up where the sun don't shine, that they have a bit more sense than that...

Z you are so right, i'm very sorry to have cast nasturtions at the character of muppets! they are so much better than this twonky suposed Father bloke!
Pippi i know there would have been a civilised MSE person who volunteered to help out with your DD but you are doing the right thing, i know from experience that there's some evil weirdo's out there who don't care how old people are. I can't believe he's being such a **************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*****. He doesn't deserve your not so little ones in his life. Sorry as you can tell it's hit a nerve and i have nothing directly to do with it, i shall go and hide back in my corner now.

LT seems to have summed the situation up admirably. He is clearly an utter daehbonk (read it backwards). Glad to hear you've been able to rescue the situation. Deeply impressed that you can rant in high speed french too - that must be a hugely satisfying skill!

Did a bit more sowing this afternoon so we now have the aformentioned 'sturtiums, sweet peas, runner beans and peppers on the go in peat pots. Fingers crossed.
