Gosh yes, he certainly is
We are very lucky to have found each other, it's a great mutual appreciation society
Fingers crossed we'll spend the weekend together if/when DD finally goes away.....
This is a sign of how much I like him - I have even cooked him repulsive, stinky bacon for breakfast without moaning too much (although DD was funny the other morning after his sleepover, she is quite a rabid veggieI don't think we'll turn him though...)!
I loathed the smell and taste of bacon even when I last ate meat 30 years ago, and it was a bonus when my ex husband left that I thought I'd never have to cook it again, and certainly haven't bended to other gentleman friend's whims in that regard, lol. He knows he is very honoured and appreciates it0 -
Ooooh, the things we do for l:heart2:rv Kittikins!! Glad things are going so well.
Hope things are calming down on Pomona Pippi, though still a bit breezy I understand. Hope all is well in the stripes household. I have managed to get all my tom and pepper seeds sown!!! :j
Really p'd off today, gorgeous weather, loads of weeding to do, day sorted...but no....hurt my shoulder yesteday and it is really sore today, hardly slept last night. I can hardly do anything atm and getting quite annoyed about it all. I can' stand/sit/lie in one position for any length of time, so have to get up and move every so often...so not catching up with much sleep either.
Might have to supervise DS in the garden this afternoon...will get me out in the sunshine at least for a bit. Problem is DS is more a "moving and knocking down stuff" sort of lad, rather than a getting down on your knees and weeding (unlike his brother), so not sure how he will feel about weeding this afternoon
I may send him next door to attack their bramble patch instead (which was my original plan when I was planning on weeding our front). He at least gets paid for it, but it doesn't help with our garden (the brambles are on the other side of his garden and quite rampant!).
Perhaps he can do a bit of weeding first, then as a reward, he can go and do some hacking (he loves the loppers!). Now that's what I call a plan.
Sorry about the rant/ramble folks...feeling a bit better for having put it all in writing.
Enjoy the sunshine if you can everyone.
Ooh spring feels like it is just round the corner! Tempting fate by saying this I know...it's supposed to become cooler at the weekend.

I've been out in my wellies in the garden too this afternoon :j :j Just half an hour, but surprising how much I got done (just in a cardi too - no coat!) :j :j Cleared all the rubbish that's blown in, collected all my fennel seeds (going to try using as tea?), cut down the fennel, the dead stalks of the lemon verbena, the st john's wort, oregano, and sage - all of which I should probably have done last year, but it's less demoralising once the new shoots have already started to grow :j :j
So starting to sprout out there so far is:
- 2 lots of fennel
- sage
- chives
- st john's wort
- rhubarb
- roses
- strawberries
:T :T All of its own accordI love a garden that just gets on with it without me having to do very much
:rotfl:
(((((pippi))))))))))) hope you're alright lass, and hope we're not torturing you too much with all this talk of sunshine and gardensxxx

Cheri thank you how lovely!
My red rhubarb buds are popping through - my sage (well my NEW free) sage is about to be potted up, indoors and I've not sown anything yet - soon though -got a wonderful email through eBay from a chap I'd sent two house plant cuttings too saying how perfect they were, how quick they arrived and he loved the orange ice lolly recycled box for packaging. How charming to leave a lovely note! Sold more seeds, eggs, have two garden jobs lined up and a book. Need to fill in my patchwork income to brighten me up.
And of course tonight I'm sorting out a lovely seed order from keiss -thank you!! And two folk at work have asked for my list
I'm now fully enhanced and disclosed at work and have signed a contract for 'casual hours'
And, darling jock (son of eintstien) will be going to a lovely new home on Monday
