No, I've never been married either. Always regarded it as just one step up from selling my soul to the devil (sorry to all those married folks out there, don't mean to offend).
Just catching up - wasn't well yesterday.0 -
trog you can be forgiven for your opinion it's the differences which make the world go round.
KK sounds like your DD is making all the right steps, enjoy your tea with MrA, i wonder if she's got her interview questions written out yet lol
Pippi, hope you get interest in your seeds on ebay. I'm on a face and fight the world/flat/neighbours/allotment weekend this weekend so you may yet be hearing from me. Must check on my fruit canes in case they've run out of water in the greenhouse.0 -
Thanks girlies, it probably won't be today that he attends at court but he'll be receiving his invitation. It all depends his nerves, lol. He has the option of being picked up by us on our way back about 5pm or waiting til she's gone off with my dad and then coming over, I reckon he'll go for the latter and that's fine, there's no rush, I'm very happy to go with the flow0

Talked to Wik and making a plan to go down - early in the week
I hope you're all good
Meeting was OK - I think maybe I'm getting a bit braver and have challenged him a bit on occasion - like today. Chapters all funny now and need to get my head around the revised rejigged list now - how this will ever be finised by the end of April I will never know - I now have 10 chapters - 10! How on earth is that possible in a smaller msc thesis?
Wind to get up later on - not looking forward to that. Also having the great hen/garden debate here (and on blog) - I'm not sure what to do - I like having the hens galavanting around - but I want a garden - I don't know if I want to fence my individual garden beds as they might blow away (the fence and maybe the garden!) and I'll be less incliined to just go and do a bit if its like a prison.
Free range chickens OR
Free range vegetables and flowers - now that is a tough one............................................

Yep, what Cheery and beanie said - and what Pippi said to KK too
Pippi, I think the interest on here shows that you're on the right track with the seeds thing - I'm a bit surprised I'm the only one who's specifically mentioned the plantlets, but maybe thats because the enthusiasts on here are a bit more set up and ready to go than me.
Anyway, hope it goes well today - remember how wonderful you are when you have the meeting with the evil one
Thank you KC - L has shown interest too - I'm happy to grow planlets to order - if you let me know anything you might want I can probably help you out.
I also spoke to my gardening guru chap today and he's nicely giving me my own little area in one of his tunnels until mine is upas i'd asked for some space
hip hip hooray!
Happpy Friday to youhello there - happy friday to you too

I hope you're better today - I veer both ways about marriage sometimes - thesedays I'm more convinced that you can find your own lobster out there and be with them for a goodly amount of time.
But we're not all lobsters - viva la difference!

Hooray for space in the polytunnel! :T :T
And well done for standing up to that mean old supervisor! :T :T 10 chapters must mean that each of them is shorter - like a series of essays - feels mentally more manageable somehow maybe?! You WILL get it done :j :j We'll be here cheering you on :j :j
Glad you got PhD-wrapped parcel :rotfl: :rotfl: Thought you might enjoy chicken-hunting in the dark with a pig:rotfl:
No idea about hens. My instinct would be to have a fence round the whole garden, but no idea really whether that's practical...0 -
Hey cheery thank you
I'm enjoying seeing them plooter about but I don't like the carp everywhere and I don't want to go without a garden here either to keep them happy. They have a humungous field to go into and they all stand outside the back door - what on earth are they thinking?? Very daft these hens. If you can remember the triangle - at the top - wondered about a bigger real sturdy hen house on there - for them - they can explore to thier own delight and then hopefully they wont be in the garden as much - who knows!!
I'm thinking of letting them plooter about in the yard/field but fench the area directly around and by the house (somehow?) and putting a green net over the veggie garden maybe - give it more shelter too. Oh - its hard thinking about it all.
I think I prefer free range garden to free range hens. But I do like them so.................:)
Pigs in the dark with hens will be fun!!! And, yeah 10 chapters means smaller chapters - it just seems so big now somehow.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

you are so much better than me! i can't bring myself to start listing things on ebay, much as i could easily list 100 a things just from my craft cupboard. Oh i feel so guilty!
not sure what you can do about the girls, is their field big enough to be fenced in and they can still stretch their little leggies?
glad you have managed to wrangle yourself some space in a tunnel.0
