I have already learnt how to make an electricity-free fridge!! Could well set one up to keep veg chilled in a shed where there is no leccy!
Thats how we used to keep milk overnight before we had fridges - erm, not in plantpots obviously :rotfl:but you'd put the milk bottle in a bowl of cold water with a teatowel over it and with its ends in the water.

Oh dear, too many ideas and not enough time to think about them!!
I can relate to this - determined not to let myself be overwhelmed again tho.

I have to get going with a card for DH, as well as a card for DS2 as he is 18 in two weeks time. So off to get some sttiching done...garden stuff can wait until tomorrow :)

Thats the next project, when I'm not overwhelmed any more :D

Pippi is a tad isolated! Greenval, glad to get an update from you, and to know that they're taking care of you.

Having found an extra 100 packets of veggie seeds in my teaching box lets hope so eh? Unfortunately I'm not joking.

    :rotfl:

I think I might have a tiny problem and an idea now where my hard earned pennies might have gone.

    Into a seed packet :rotfl:

No money spent today - and another 1/2 dozen egg ordered via email :)

    Hurray.

Cars do go past the end of the road (in real life, but you're all right not very often!!!) - we did see two yesterday when out for our walk - a sign wouldn't be a bad idea in the summer - if we've anything extra - thus far facebook and text/email are helping me with sales and the lovely blog of course - not what you'd call 'in your face' advertising I suppose!

I'm selling them in multiples of 5 seeds (up to what anyone wants) - lets hope someone wants some!!!!

Very exciting I offer a holistic service :) if you want (as an example) seeds or plants of 3 cabbages or 16 radishes or 14 1/2 spring onions - I'm your girl :) and of course my packaging is all recycled :D and I will grow to order too :) I use to do that before - which is nice knowing where the little mites will end up.

Oh that is exciting - I've done a proper list for the seeds and I'm not sowing much for a while, just slowly so it works well making plants available later on.

Not that these are exciting in a give me your dosh kind of way - just in an exciting type of a way!

I just hope that maybe I can help folk to try and grow their own too as well as adding to the patchwork.

I'm calling it the Peedie Vegetable Company - a bit of a rough and ready list until I put it on the web - but rather do it at a gentle pace to begin with. And the intials make me laugh, although I don't know why.

You want it, I got it, no matter how tiny the order :)

Working out a price per bit - not got that bit 100% yet but getting there. Trying to wrok out a general per lot price, but think it might need to be individual per order they all are different value/cost per seed. Having a think about that.

Managed to get a HC load dried on the line - amazing!! And, I saw a hen harrier going past when I was out there - not as exciting as cheerys garden - but kind neat all the same!
