Great stuff Pippi, well done! :T :T

It's probably a good job I'm not a parent, I'd be letting DD walk home without a coat and not even making her a cuppa when she got in - that'd teach her and I bet she'd wear her coat the next time! :rotfl: (I'm not that mean really, I probably would make a cuppa :rotfl:)

Quite jealous of you going to bed with CL, I might do the same thing! :rotfl:

You've met DD cheery - I did leave her to walk once in her 'fashion jacket' her attitude was that the weather was quite refreshing thank you! We are at stubborn stand off - if she won't wear the jacket - she can't walk home. Normally teenagers complain bout having to walk a mile home...............................

Hope you're finding the free time fun!! Working from home for next couple days :)

Eta amazon listings back on live :)
Off to check out seed prices - I've 50 peedie posh seed packets and I'm going to see what of my veggies I can sell by seed ( bought branded packets which I'll not use all of) help keep cost of my seed down too :)

it's funny how kids won't wear coats isn't it.

Well done for getting 6000 words done.

Kittkins, spoke to my folks yesterday and asked questions i was glad i'd asked. Aparently my mum knew my dad 2 weeks before she introduced us. She thinks that it went so 'smoothly' because they decided that if dad was joining us it was to become a family not, her & dad + us.

well best get to bed, trying to get more sleep in so i don't feel tired all the time.

Just a quick hello all. Pippi/wik hugs to you and your friend/relative.
I had a lump removed from my forehead yesterday(not thought to be sinister to use GP's expression but better gone)
Hope its better soon - hope they do a biopsy on whatever the thingy was _pale_ I've had a few of those myself, tho never a headache like that, poor you ...
I've just done an inventory of my cardboard boxes, found my seed packets for selling seeds in (yippee), squished more recycled packaging into the cupboard

AND found my no claims discount letter I needed for the insurance. Which I had to post but couldn't find!

    Yippee

And currently de-boxing OH office room - we have an infestation in there too. I'm sure we'll use them all up - I can't bear to chuck any of it out. But, between all of that lot and the years worth of loo roll innards (plant pots) and kitchen roll innards (same) I think we'll be done for if cardboard comes alive in the night.
Excellent! Well, not excellent to the infestation :rotfl:or to being eaten alive in the night by flesh-eating cardboard :rotfl:but hurray to the rest of it.

Hi LT, that's really great that your parents knew things were right 2 weeks in and lo and behold it has been proven to be perfectly, blissfully true :) (given that my marriage didn't even last a year, anyone who gets to more than about 5 years must have a fab marriage, lol).

I feel like a big weight has been taken off my shoulders now that DD has shown me she's aware of the situation, and so hopefully when she meets MrA she'll approve :) She's got to like him or we really won't have a future, so no pressure then!!

Thnaks chev - hope you're feeling a bit brighter.

    Morning all

    At home today

    Post being constructed
Literature out and a list being done for progress of sections (for me)
    One child snoozing
    One child reading
    One dog - snoozing
    Hens gadding about

Money to go into the bank today :) 40+50 from Ds
    Insurance letter to sort out
    Few things to post

Feeling bleurgh but perkier today if that makes any sense - still feeling crook, but my *head* is on for work so thats good.

KC - CL - not any exotic underwear or anything like that - merely the delightful Country Living - Cheery and I both get a it!

KK - woo hoo glad you're feeling better, if it makes you feel any better my *first* marriage (long story, cough) didn't last more than a year either, but no kids involved.

Country Living, lol - I knew it had to be something like that :)

Short marriages! Well, if I'd been a paperwork sort of person, I'd have had three, oops.

If we do the paperwork mr stripes and I will be no too 3 :o (for me not him, he's far too lovely and sensible!) which is why I know it will work.

KK I introduced mr stripes to my kids a couple weeks after I had met him (maybe a month as he was south and I was north) - I made the weekend jam packed full of kids, walks, messy teas etc etc and made him sleep on the sofa - (TMI?) we had alot of fun, but he was in no way under any illusion of what our lives were like, then he said he felt the whole weekend was like an interview process - :rotfl:(dunno if that was in a good way):rotfl:

BTW he passed - we all decided we liked him and the kids really liked him, they felt included in the 'interview' process!

We all liked him and it worked fine :D

ETA - £75.14 out of bank as cc payment - so its 1324.86 from £1400 - getting there - no extra money in the bank though...............hmmmmm

Hooray for Mr Stripes passing the interview with flying colours :j :j Not surprised, he's lovely :D

Just found the little mini things I was going to send you :j :j So have parcelled them up and you'll get two parcels :j :j Took great joy in wrapping one of them in a cast off page of my phd thesis :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (thinking I might not burn it, I might just use it for wrapping paper for the next 50 years :rotfl:)
