A few years ago I purchased a Macd Quarter Pounder and it was raw in the middle.

Usual rubbish was offered a replacement which I declined. The franchise owner never contacted me so I complained to their HQ in Finchley, London.

They wanted a Psychiatryreport to make a claim on their insurers.

Waste of time - raw burgers are serious.

In My home town all the divy kids left school at 16 and went to work in the Pukka Pie factory in Wigston. I have never eaten a Pukka Pie since them telling me what went on there which was mostly spitting in the food on an almost hourly basis. Chewed fingernails was another one, usually after being told by a supervisor to do some other task as a mark of defiance.

  • if i ever went in mcdonalds and found a finger nail i would be amazed that something real was actually in their food.

the food is rank you should be made to eat the finger nail for going in there in the first place. I cannot see the thing with macdonalds its expensive and its not food. You can go to waitrose and get sandwichs and crisps its just as quick and its real.

    i hate mcdonalds

I'm sure if my brother had swallowed it could have done some damage like scrape the back of his throat or something?

The swallowing mechanisms of an 8 year old and an adult being vastly different of course...

Bad enough you bought 8 of the damn things!!

But you then drove 20 miles before consuming.

I take you don't like hot/warm/tepid/above freezing "food" then.

I would have thought the end of a fingernail was the least of YOUR worries..

I do like hot food, thats why I have a microwave.
And before I get the whole 'eeeeew thats grow reheating food in a microwave!' it still tastes damn good.

I still haven't even had an apology. Sent them another message. If I don't head anything by next week I will write to them and send them the finger nail.

Talk to anyone who has worked in food prep and you will hear some real horror stories.

    Best to ignore.

On the whole, I must say McDonalds standards are 100% better than the average food shop
