Anybody have any luck with their refunds or "missing " returns yet?...apparantly Shudoo have discontinued the free returns offer due to problems,they posted a statement on a shop but dont drop discussion.

Mine are still missing - posted using free returns label 29/11. Shudoo also triple charged me for the pleasure (ie charged 3 times for 1 pair of faulty boots that are now missing in their returns process). Have hopefully had refund posted for 2 of the pairs now. As for the labels / returns, we can't all be that unlucky, even with this bad weather. What can we do?0

I sent a parcel back to Shudoo using the pre-paid label they provided (Royal Mail Packet Post retruns). Shudoo are claiming not to have received the parcel. The parcel contents are worth over £300. Shudoo say that it is up to the customer to make a claim with Royal Mail - but the label they provided only gives cover of approx £30. However, it is more complicated than this because the customer cannot make a claim with Royal Mail for Packet Post items. Only the company can do that because they hold the contract with Royal Mail. Basically they won't make a refund and it doesn't seem right that the customer is out of pocket when the customer follows the company's return instructions and furthermore uses the label they provide to make that return. Their Facebook page is littered with customers making such complaints and seem to be getting nowhere.
Another theory is that Shudoo cancelled the packet post returns contract with Royal Mail meanwhile lots of customers had returns labels from their parcels. It seems that if a company cancels their packet post contract, Royal Mail consider the item as 'unpaid' so all our returns could be in an office somewhere waiting for Shudoo to pay the postage and collect the items.0 -
Just browsing comments as looking to buy some UGGs and my mate recommended SHUDOO and I have to say in regards to a lot of your comments it seems you also need to take responsibility for your returns. If you choose not to read companies return policies and other Ts&Cs before placing or returning an order then more fool you!
Everyone makes this mistake time and time again and only when things go wrong and items get lost to people suddenly blame everyone but themselves.
Learn from mistakes and next time you shop online take a moment to read what is effectively the contract you are entering into in purchasing from the company, it's far more important than the best bargain, if you choose not to then don't be surprised when you end up out of pocket

Anyway that aside..where on Shudoos T+C's does it mention that anyone using their free returns label is likely to end up out of pocket as their items will get lost...it has happened to too many people for it to be customer error.

Ha, I work for A postal service so deal with customers losing parcels every day and it surprises me how little the know about the service they have used.
I actually had no intention of posting anything, just looking for a code mainly and having a nose at what people say about so many different things- call it morbid curiosity if you will. But the postage issues caught my eye for sad yet obvious reasons.
It's sad to people have had problems but compared to how many people I speak to on a daily basis about lost post I'm not sure if it as many as it appears. It seems this type of site is a place for people to share their bad experiences which is great but doesn't paint a total picture if that makes sense.. Anyway, I have decided to go shopping tomorrow instead now as I doubt I'll get anything before Xmas online from any where nownever organised in time!!

Am sorry to hear more people are suffering with this. It sounds to me like HQ12 might be onto something.
The issue is non delivery of the goods, so they may not necessarily have been lost. A problem with the label / contract would explain this. We have all experienced issues with the label. No one so far has a reported any issues with returns being delivered when they have sent their return using any other method, and no one so far has reported successfully returning goods in December using the label. So it follows that the problem is with the label / contract with the Royal Mail.
Shudoo have posted to the forum and on Facebook that they have withdrawn the free returns service, at the same time as our returns are being returned under that service. If the contract was terminated before our returns got charged to Shudoo then there would be a very good reason why our boots haven't been delivered and we haven't got our refunds!
