Well Halfords stuff hasnt let me down even when its freezing for past week still pleased with it0

I use Lidl concentrate but it is only available as a special buy so I stock up. -40c neat. Smells nice. I also put it into a trigger spray for de-icing, much cheaper. Suitable for VW fanjets as well.
I'm another one that swears by the lidl stuff, been using it for years without any problems."One thing that is different, and has changed here, is the self-absorption, not just greed. Everybody is in a hurry now and there is a 'the rules don't apply to me' sort of thing." - Bill Bryson0 -

I have found shell's screenwash - (blue) 1L concentrated bottle good in the winter, in the summer I use lidl's green apple/yellow lemon variety.Audi - Vorsprung durch Technik0

Buy a small bottle of screenwash and when empty don't throw it away. Instead use a larger bottle to keep it topped up and in your car.The man without a signature.0

I use Halford's pre-mixed pink stuff as it's usually BOGOF and it's been fine for me.0

I'm using car plan at about 25% (but I didn't measure) it's working fine. I bought the 5 litre bottle years ago
and I still have 4 litres left. I only use it in winter.0 -

Just a warning on the Lidl summer screen wash (fragranced, comes in a small yellow or green bottle for £1) - it can give a really bad allergic reaction. For months I had serious skin issues and traced it to that. Found the bottle and it states it can cause reactions - checked all other brands that I use - no such warnings and no issues with those (the standard blue stuff from Tesco/Halfords typically).
I'm sure some of the chemicals out there will be giving people issues and they will never realise the cause. The same goes for the air con - a proper sterilise as far is possible is recommended - you can get a can of air con cleaner you let off in the car for a few minutes. There also are some specialist sprays out there.0 -
Autoglym All Season Quick Clear and I must say it's the best I've ever used in 40+ winters. Depending on the degree of dilution it's good down to -45 degc. I'm using 4:1 at the moment. Not the cheapest though.0
