How much fine for blocking doctor's surgery driveway?

Why would you do that? if you checked the times you clearly knew it was a surgery, did it not occur to you that the doctor may be out on calls and need to get back in to do the surgery at the times noted? Tbh you do deserve a ticket, and for the lesson to hit home.0

It has been two weeks now and I haven't received any parking ticket through the post. It seems that the Surgery may have informed police but by the time someone comes to give a ticket I managed to reach my car. I accept that it was my fault but this time lucky! Thanks all for your comments and advise0

Count youself lucky this time, perhaps next time you will have more consideration when choosing somewhere to park.0

Why would anyone park in a place that would cause inconvenience to a doctor? Op you deserve a ticket but you probably won't get one...0

Perhaps the police have decided a fixed penalty notice (ticket) was not appropriate in this situation and they are going to escalate the matter to a more serious level? Let's hope so.0

Perhaps they will bang them up over Christmas? Come on lets get real here, parking is not a criminal offence in most parts of the country, so the police probably didn't think it was worth pursuing further!
Still the OP should count themselves lucky here, and park in an appropriate place in future, parking next to a doctors surgery like that is beyond belief imo!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Probably the same reason the Doctor could not just park up somewhere else (i.e. lack of space to park).nearlyrich wrote: »Why would anyone park in a place that would cause inconvenience to a doctor?0 -

What "more serious level" would that be, then? :rotfl:
In all probability, the police realised that no offence was being committed, so did nothing.0 -
OP, why were you so selfish as to park across a driveway?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
