Sharing that with me is such a kind and thoughtful thing to do...though I wouldn't wish this confusion on anyone knowing that there are others who understand and empathise with this situation is unbelievably comforting.
I know it must seem that I only concentrate on the finances here ~ it's because I have a tendency toward "retail therapy" and that really, really wouldn't help my situation.
Yesterday was a day like that - I have no idea what I actually spent but it was less than £20 and more than £10, I kinda went on Autopilot and pretended like it was a "normal" day ~ working in the same shop as hubby means that sometimes I do this to get through...
Today I was back on budget in Tesco - £49.96 but £20 of that was Christmas presents
Am having a delicious "yellow sticker" meal of reduced steak, cut price mushrooms and reduced stir fry
then I have to tackle a mountain of making bangles, bracelets etc for my Christmas orders
(didn't feel motivated this morning but the steak is helping, lol)
I hope life continues to get better and better for you - remember one day at a time, it's all we can do....

Sorry I haven't been around much - hubby announced 2 days before Christmas that he was off with friends until this Wednesday.
He told me an hour before he left on Thursday - right before I had to go into work to manage one of my busiest trading days of the year...
Thankfully friends took me out for a drink that night, then other friends took me out on Christmas Eve (to the cinema to see Dawn Treader). Christmas Day was spent on my own as I really didn't want to risk breaking down into tears (lots of calls from mum and family though)
As it was I think I've turned a corner, for the first time I actually felt positive about this whole marriage break up. It's difficult to feel empathy for a guy who ducks out on Christmas Day, not only on me but also on his very supportive family.
I have no idea what I've spent in this last week but I haven't gone too mad as I didn't get any Christmas feasts in (originally I was supposed to be going to mums but hubby skipping out meant I decided to stop at home to make sure BoB cat got fed and watered)
Wanted to go to the sales today but the car battery was flat, I guess it's Gods way of telling me to finish tidying the boxes up and do some more packing

I had a good day today - went to the sales and bought some jumpers (£65 spent but really nice warm stuff that look fabulous on!)
Got home and opened the mail to find that I'd won a Blackberry pearl 3G smartphone in the Daily Mirror Christmas Prize Draws,
they were instant win text comps but all unclaimed prizes went into the draws and I won :j:j
A HUGE thanks to Princess Pixie Dust posting the comp details :A
After a cruddy Christmas it's really cheered me up
