Thanks Chev
I'm trying really hard to cut down on expendidture and these boards may just be the best thing I've ever done! As someone who is all black and white I've gone from spender to scrimper almost overnight, my biggest challenge is going to be keeping it up until it becomes a lifestyle choice rather than a short term obsession...
Love your signature BTW

Fab kitten~looks just like my boy
Saturday was a £0 day:D
Hubby bought home the passata, mushrooms and ham to go with the cheese and onion and puree I had ready for pizza. (Which was yummy!)
Yesterday (Sunday £9.58)
Went to Tesco on the way to my friends Deb and Mark's house. Was running out of bread flour so bought food inc 2 packs of Tesco own brand strong white (loving the pink packaging) + raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Deb and Mark made a wonderful "comfort food" dinner of Toad in the Hole, creamy mash and mixed veg ~ followed by apple crumble and custard. It was soooooo delish!!! :A
Deb had saved me a pine TV stand and an armchair for when I get my flat. I nearly cried, I'm very lucky to have such caring friends.
It's at times like these, with hubby ending our marriage, that you realise how many wonderful people you know.....

Sunday 11th - £17.32 in co-op but hubby stumped up £10 of that
so £7.32
Made a scrummy roast beef dinner, carrot, green beans home made "high tower" yorkie puds, roast tatties and reduced 29p cakes for afters! Also made cheese & potato pie for tomorrow + rest of roast beef, green beans & carrots.
Included in the £17.32 was a Huge block of cheese & a dozen eggs so omlette wednesday may be happening too, lol
Hubby ate dinner with me and then we snuggled on the sofa while watching x-factor... some days it feels like we aren't splitting up,
it just confuses my head. Maybe it will be easier when I'm on the other side of the country in my own place ~ sadder but easier...

Thank you Hulahoop - yes it's hard but trying to remain upbeat is what gets me thorough
Really appreciate you taking the time to post ~ sometimes I can feel a little alone (as soon as I'm back in Worcester with the family that will get better through) *peers for light at the end of the tunnel*
