nunnygirl - it's Buffalo bills. I searched all over their website and eventually found a customer services email. Fingers crossed they send us something. I'll be over the moon (as will hubby of course!)

I've just emailed H2Bs favourite football team, and some of the WWE superstars. I've left it a bit late, but hopefully someone will come back with a reply.

Thanks so much for the idea OP I originally emailed 2 football teams with a request and both replied saying not a problem but I would need to put it in writing and enclose a SAE. I duly did this and enclosed an A4 envelope with do not bend on and the correct amount of stamps.

1st reply Man United - bog standard with printed signature, but still very effective

2nd reply Newcastle United - I was really thrilled with this reply, they wished us congratulations, thanked us for our support and even mentioned our 'beautiful sons' by name. It really is a lovely letter and it was signed!

So if your waiting and thinking .. mm.... not sure, give it a go, really happy with my result and can't wait to see OH face lol x

It really depends how "current" you want the letter to be...if you are not getting married until next year then I would suggest a couple of months before the wedding...if you write now and they return something ....many of the players may have changed by the time you need the congratulation...but I guess its up to you

Thanks. I might get writing during the summer holidays as the particular player he would want it from has been there forever and a day!

A really annoying thing happened at my wedding. I did not want to make a speech so I asked the best man to 'award' my hubby the arsenal letter at the reception. Basically he did not mention it was from me and made it seem like he is the one who got the letter for his best friend. grrrr.

Zebrasmum, I really think you should focus on the things that went RIGHT at your wedding i.e you got to marry your presumably lovely husband... This and your two other threads make it sound like you had a terrible day!
