:jRock salt used to melt ice in the winter contains sodium and potassium chloride, which burns the feet of cats and dogs.It can also be harmful to an animal if ingested, as the natural instinct of animals to lick salt off their feet.
We put sand down which works just as well.
better put some down for the neighbours cat which keeps p!ssing in my garden:T0 -
Beware guys , Rocksalt can do lots of damage to any metal structures and supports . Dont use on elivated walkways or anywhere likely to have steel RSJ supports in them.0

I struggle to think of anything I care less about than cats.

Ahhh eureka maybe that will stop my neighbours cats from shi~ting in my garden! gonna get myself some rock salt tomorrow! bloody cats! :mad:
My thoughts exactly, werent going to bother buying any until i read that. So fed up with dog owners not picking up outside my house and ends up on my driveway!!! Rant over:mad:0 -
You do know, if you put your own stuff on public paths/ roads if there is an accident you are liable not the council.
