Hi congrats, I had a letter asking me if I wanted them to re look at my accounts as I had a PPI refund off them in Sept. Did they just write to you offering you the 1500 or did they send you the same letter they sent me first?

My partner is currently paying an old loan with Welcome finance at £10 per month. He originally borrowed £2.5k about 5 years ago and the repayments mean he was paying back £6k!!
How would I find out if there was PPI on the loan? He doesn't have any of the original documents.

Just a little update. I have recieved the money from Welcome Finance. Instead of taken the 30 banking days (6 weeks) it went into my bank account yesterday and it is being spent as it would be money I would never have had so the kids and the wife are getting spoilt rotten this christmas.

Hi I'm waiting for a refund, how long did it take them to put the money in your account?

i spoke to them on thursday mine has been dealt with i will recievce a letter within a week but wouldnt give me any information over the phone lets hope its good news will keep you posted been waiting since 2nd november for the brideshead team to get back to me did say 28 days but has took a little longer

Hiya

Your hubby can write to request for a copy of the loan agreement from the lender, enclose a £1 cheque/postal order and ask they supply by 12 days.
This document should enclose details of any PPI.

They recieved my bank details on November 29 and the money went into my bank on the 17th December.
