    DS - 12 weeks
    DD - 14 weeks

Both breastfed. Both put to bed at 7pm, woken up at 10pm for a feed, put straight back to bed. Slept through til 6.30,7am. As they still do aged 6,4.

    2DD - 10mth
    3DD - 1yr

The 3 girls still get up frequently through the night to be honest but my son has always been an excellent sleeper. The 2 youngest girls had issues that prevented them from sleeping well though :)
Wife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart
  • DD 8 weeks
    DS 3 weeks

Both exclusivly breast fed and sleeping in their own bedroom from 1st night home.
  • When did your baby start sleeping through the night (without waking for a feed)? By sleeping through the night I mean sleeping for *9 hours or more (*my definition, not the clinical one lol). Thanks

oh... ds1 would have slept through the night from being 14 days old....we had to wake him for his night feed! Hes 12 now and still sleeps like a log...

ds2 is just 3 and has slept through from being 9 months old. (Didnt needa a feed after about 6 months when we weaned him)

ds3 is 2 in a few weeks and is still up on average 2 time a night.. he does sleep through on the odd occassion, about 12 times in his life lol. (He hasnt needed a feed since he was 6 months in the night)

They have all been given the same routine etc so its all down to the individual baby i am afraid!

Have to say your terribly lucky .

Ive had 2 years of DS sleeping through now . Generally goes down for 11.5 hours :T

So when this baby is born not looking forward to briken nights sleep. Although Im waking at 2:30 every night could be a sign.

    thing 2 - 6 weeks
    thing 3 - 4 months

thing 3 is nearly 6 years old and wakes up every now and again
thing 2 wouldnt wake if the ceiling collapsed
thing 1 ws born very early so i had to feed and give him his meds he is still up with the sparrows fart now but at least he doesnt wake anyone else up now
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

  • DD was 4 months old, as soon as she started on solids.

DS was 6 weeks old for sleeping through without waking for a feed but he's rarely slept through in his own cot/bed, we've mainly co-slept with him. Hes a big softie who needs his mummy 24/7 lol
