well peeps, thought I would give you a final update, had the party on Saturday and it was so good, everyone said what a lovely time they had. We played singstar and pass the parcel and the cake was a great success and there was too much food!! I couldn't believe it, after all my worries there was tonnes left over!!
I probably spent about £30 in food at the end, because i bought loads of cheap chocolate for my chocolate fountain, which bumped up the price a bit, so with the price of the cake which was a couple of pound and party bags/pass the parcel the total came to about £40, which was double what I had to spend!! But thankfully my dad and MIL helped me out.

Have hopefully included picture of the cake and party food, (if I can get it to work!) and just wanted to say thanks again for all your brilliant ideas and advice.

You just need to do [img]before the url link, and then [ /img] afterwards EDIT: that's not working. Maybe use[/img]photobucket instead, as that's easier

Get yourself down to LIDL or the Tesco Value Range (it's not bad at all!)

For the kids - Jelly and Ice-Cream. A tub of Ice-Cream is 49p from Tesco Value, Jelly is like 19p. Stick out a few bowls of crisps, chop up some carrot sticks as someone else said, and make some sandwiches- Tesco Value bread is abour 25p, nothing wrong with it.

Party Bags - what about sweetie bags? Buy a few large bags of sweets from Tesco and share the contents out into party bags. Or check out the local pound shop. You could use sandwich bags as party bags and just use ribbon to tie them up and make them look pretty.

Dont fret, you'll have a great party.
