Thank you. You don't have to cover the planet with wind turbines. Like I told you, you need to read up on it. Your arguments are based upon conjecture and disinformation.
As regards to the boycott. I would write to the politicians in the government you are concerned with. Politicians generally believe that for every letter that they receive from someone, who is bothered enough to write to them about it, then that letter represents the same view of 100 other people. Write to the companies involved and boycott any products they supply and any companies that they sell products on to. Write to those companies too.
You are doing a good job LizEiz... for raising awareness of it here. Despite the questionable ethics of some on this forum.0 -

Well, tell me where do you intend we put the turbines that are going to fulfil all of our energy needs with a clean and 100% reliable form of energy?0 -
Sorry everyone, i'm going to bed... I thought this thread was about whaling and boycotting but it seems its about green energy, another thing I feel strongly about, but I can't be bothered any more tonight.... good night all, and PLEASE all keep up the fight no matter how small or large, Martin Luther didn't give up and look what happened there...
Night all!0 -

I do think there are questions to be asked about how far technology can be considered part of natural development, but dying and living and becoming extinct and being born as the mutant progenetor of some brand new species is all just part of the rich tapestry of life. Death happens, and as much as you'd like to, you can't just wrap all living things up in bubble wrap and preverse them indefinitely. It'd be just as perverse as systematically killing them all just for the sake of it.
Maintaining biodiversity is very important. Again I recommend reading up on the subject to save me typing (and some power tr3mor).
Quick example. Many new chemicals and chemical reactions can be studied with plant species. These chemicals could be copied and used for all sorts of stuff i.e. drugs.0 -

This post is for boycotting. Again, you are not paying attention on two counts. Where have I mentioned that we obtain 100% of our power from wind?0 -
I was going to post a sarcastic reply but, actually, comparing this to the slave trade and centuries of institutional racism is just that little bit too offensive.
Not just for implying that I'm some kind of morally bankrupt monster, but for trivialising one of the worst moments in mankind's history.0
