My wife ordered one of these on 04 January and it's still not arrived. I've e mailed the company and demanded a refund because they keep e mailing and saying the demand is huge and the delivery date keeps getting put back. I think they're taking the p*ss.

What do you think the chances of getting a refund are?
  • would recommend as great money saver pays for itself in months save a mint and works really well the single glazing one anyway will post as hoping to try double glazing

follow instructions and you should be fine its pretty easy really not for leaded type windows though

its great don't be put off
  • your supposed to keep hold of the other part of it!!!!!

    Don't buy it!
I bought one of these at the South of England Show yesterday and it's a complete waste of £20.
Firstly, the outside washer part didn't stay on properly and I bought a special one for double-glazed windows. Then, the safety cord unravelled from around my wrist and the outside washer part fell off and crashed down to the ground- two floors!

When I picked it up, the plastic part had cracked. Then I tried washing both parts to have another go but then they stuck together so hard that I couldn't prise them apart. When I eventually managed to, the strength of the magnets pulled the already broken plastic part off the unit so now it is completely unusable.

There is supposed to be a one year guarantee on this product and this was one of the reasons I bought it. Therefore I thought I might try to return the wizard but there is no return address, contact number and I can't find out even who makes the wretched things! The website link doesn't work either!
  • it sounds as if some of you might not be using it properly you stick the magnets together over your window and turn it to an angle to make sure it does not fall off don't have it too wet either i used one on single glazing and it worked for 7 years

My windows are about 20 years old. So I thought they would not be too thick.
    Wrong.
I had the same trouble as others, when I bought a Window Wizard - the outside one just kept falling off.
  • I am sending mine back, I just cannot get the hang of it and my widows stayed wet and looked awful.

I can't believe a thread about a crappy window cleaning tool from the shopping channel has lasted nearly 4 1/2 years!:rotfl:
