Woolworhs online doing the double glazed ones for £12.990

Looking at www.revoo.com it seems to me the Window Wizard (4.5/10 overall score from 14 reviews) way work if you have patience with it. As some of the reviewers said there was a definite technique to it.
However I have seen a water fed (garden hose) pole system reaching 11' with a detergent system on ebay for £30 Buy It Now price (Ebay Shop) plus £5 p&p. As this is the way most professional window cleaners work these days it may be worth a look? The cheapest professional systems start at £200. But they are built for daily use of course.
Not tried the pole system but maybe worth a look?0 -
I just bought one of these and I have to say it is rubbish. It did not keep falling off like someone else said, but no way does it dry after cleaning. Back to the squeegee for me.
I should have saved my money and paid a window cleaner!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Don't buy it!
I bought one of these at the South of England Show yesterday and it's a complete waste of £20.
Firstly, the outside washer part didn't stay on properly and I bought a special one for double-glazed windows. Then, the safety cord unravelled from around my wrist and the outside washer part fell off and crashed down to the ground- two floors!
When I picked it up, the plastic part had cracked. Then I tried washing both parts to have another go but then they stuck together so hard that I couldn't prise them apart. When I eventually managed to, the strength of the magnets pulled the already broken plastic part off the unit so now it is completely unusable.
There is supposed to be a one year guarantee on this product and this was one of the reasons I bought it. Therefore I thought I might try to return the wizard but there is no return address, contact number and I can't find out even who makes the wretched things! The website link doesn't work either!0 -
Just been looking up info to try and return, but Pitchwell have gone bust.0

I think however my double glazing it too thick for them and I need to purchase the "super strength wizard" :rotfl:
I now use a step stool, microfibre cloth and some of the stuff that puts a film on your window for 6 months and makes all the dirt "slide off".
Honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone buys them - if it sounds too good to be true...
Hi
What is this window stuff that makes the dirt slide off you mentioned, i live near a woodchip manufacturer & it's a nightmare keeping my windows clean. I had the old Australian version of the window wizard for my single glaze & they were good but i have thick double glazing now so no hope of using them.

Useless no matter how careful you are the outside sponge falls off and my windows are only 20mm double glazed units.
The treatment for glass will be similar to RainX for cars something like this :

My windows are about 20 years old. So I thought they would not be too thick.
Wrong.
I had the same trouble as others, when I bought a Window Wizard - the outside one just kept falling off.A greyhound is for life - not just for racing.0
