Hi, as the title suggests, my htc desire is faulty and virgin have said they no longer stock it so I have to choose another phone. They have offered me :
Nokia x6
Sony Ericson x10 mini
HTC wildfire
How do these phones compare to my HTC Desire? Or can anyone suggest something similar.
Dont really want to go for the wildfire as its smaller than the desire and I feel I would be getting less for my money (I still have 18 months left on the contract.)
Thanks in advance..

Thanks JJ Egan, but virgin don't stock the iphone.
I get the feeling that what i've been offered doesn't compare to the Desire.
Feel like im going to lose out here as i was happy with the desire but they arent stocking it.

yep all the phone are infererior to the desire, the desire retails for around £350-400 the others for around £150!
  • These phones are completely inferior to the Desire...You should be offered something like the Samsung Galaxy S or something better.

After 3 faulty HTC desires on Vodaphone (contract only started 01/09/10) they could not give me a fourth as they where out of stock and repair was not acceptable to me on an item less than 3 months old. Eventually they gave in and allowed me to choose any handset apart from Iphone. 30 mins later I collected a shiny new Samsung Galaxy. Soooooo much better than the desire and easier to use.

OP, they are having a laugh.
I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!

    They don't.

You have 3 mid range pay as you go phones listed, you had a top end contract handset. If they can't give you a Galaxy S or or an Xperia x10, then negotiate a reduction in your line rental if you have no other choice but to accept a cheap model.

But it is comparable, cost and specification wise to the Desire.
