They say they are opening it up again.
When or should I say if they do then this issue will be on there!0 -

I agree, but it also needs someone with a large media profilE to spearhead a campaign for this, such as the sponsor of this site/forum. Come on :money:... HOW ABOUT IT???
Nice idea, I would have thought this campaign was right up Martins street, he will surely be able to get the point across better than any of us. What do you say Martin?0 -
Last I heard the plan certainly is to relaunch it - with some degree of moderation to avoid the really frivolous "petitions", like "Clarkson for PM" and similar daft things which, TBH, devalued the principle. I'm afraid some people treated it like they treat places like eBay, where you sometimes get totally frivolous listings heading for astronomical bids where neither the item exists (or is even available for sale) nor any of the "bidders" have any intention of paying.
The plan, as I last heard, was also for petitions gaining sufficient support to actually be debated in Parliament.
However, I haven't seen anything about timescales.0 -

I would have thought that BBC pensioners will be affected by this Government robbery.
If so, are there any ex BBC people out there who have the contacts to get Panorama to do a piece to make the millions of affected people aware of the scandal which is about to hit them?
They did something recently about the HMRC tax code errors. Martin also covered that.0 -

I believe that the BBC Unions have agreed a CPI up to a max of 4% deal.0 -
