You not having any problem with the battery life like many others seem to have?

once the battery is run in and you have applied the recommended tweeks you can get a full day of heavy use out of it ...
  • I do like my Desire HD but it REALLY needs a heavy duty battery. I think the best available at the moment is 1600mah but I reckon it needs 2000 before it'll go a full 24 hours without charging with normal use. I've actually had to start bringing my charger to work and have just bought a car charger from Ebay, too, to keep the thing going.

  • I've got/had all of them, Desire HD/iP4/BB Torch/Galaxy S......Torch is a completely different beast to the rest, but as an upgrade from an earlier BB, it is a very nice phone, OS6 is coming along, and the web browser is head and shoulders above OS5.

HD was too big for me, battery life was manageable, iP4 is really the benchmark for quality of hardware (aerial problems excluded), apps and even battery life now....Galaxy S, very nice, and for me Swype is a killer app if you're going to be converting to a fully touchscreen phone.
