I have to admit that I tried to load the "new" pic before I'd removed the old one, so I took all the info out and started again, still no luck.

There are two long sections that require URL and web site I think, should I paste anything in there ?

Are you linking straight from the site your pic is on...............sometimes they won't allow that and you have to 'save it' then link from where you save it to here :-/

I'm absolutely jiggered. The site I've chosen the animation allows you to "lift" them. I have twice been through the procedure , once with a larger pic and then the size suitable for inserting. I also moved it to "my pictures" but then I can't locate it when I'm ready. I'll have another go.

Is your allow animations box ticked ...................my other problem was zonealarm................I had to shut it down.................do the pic .....then put ZA back on.

Hope that helps if not we'll have to shout for Sheel..................she'll figure it hopefully ;D

In a minute I'm going to take a break, as I'm beginning to feel guilty about sitting up here all alone and in any case we are expecting company soon.

Ooooh...it's soooo frustrating isn't it...know how you are feeling..only took me 3 hrs to sort it!

No, don't put anythng in the long website and URL boxes.

Why not try one from 'harrythe cat' just as a practice one...they have always worked for me and I have Zone Alarm working. You seem to be doing everything else right as far as I can see!

Tools/internet options/advanced..................scroll down to 'multimedia'...............make sure box for 'allow animations in web pages' is ticked

If that fails lower your ad blockers

The prase in multimedia was "play animations etc" and it was ticked, so there wasn't anything for me to do.

I then tried having blocked my ad stopper.........to no avail.

I need to pog off for another 2/3 hrs, but would be gratefull if you guys would persevere with me over this. Remember, the lasses must be itching to see me in "all my glory" !!!!!!!!!naked as the day I was born !. Don'y let them have a restles night in bed..........wondering.

I tried all of the above and ended up with a lovely blank square with a little red x in it ???

I'm not sure its worth the faff ( to me)

But then again I do keep looking at relevent threads ;D

In the light of a new day. I made another attempt and hey presto!, it looks as though I've made a bit of progress. Now perhaps this square with the three coloured dots, will mean something to someone? so PLEASE, just a little more patience and we will be there.
