good morning all!it seems quiet in here today or am i up early??
İ am sat at school with 10s of parents mulling about with their darling kids! i dont like Tuesdays because i have a group of terrors(boys) from the real posh state school in the area. its a pity they dont teach them how to respect the teacher like all the other kids we have!--thankfully i just have one lesson with them and the other is with a sweet class of mainly young ladies from the same school. its so obvious to teachers the difference in behaviour between the 'sexes'!
İ only have 3 lessons all day so i will go home after these 2 initial lessons with the kids and put my feet up until my 3rd lesson in the evening with a businessman.
İ know i should go to the gym but todays excuse is a sore mouth! i am beginning to get a little 'paranoid about what goes on in my mouth because i have developed another sore area on the other side of my mouth from the weekend's absess(back on the original side where the dentist did the root filling! hopefully it is just tissue damage from where he worked on me but it has taken a week to develope--i am paranoid about cancer these days because my father has skin cancer in his old age and one never knows!--i blame the time i went to an emergency dentist in the uk and they had loads of pictures of what cancer of the mouth looks like and ever since then,,,,plus i have had a continual cold and saw a headline this am about prolonged coughing being a sign of 'c'!--i dont have a cough though!!--ignore me i am a man and we get things bad!!!
happier things--the weather is grey but not threatening the 30pc chance of rain that has been forcast. The temperatures are holding up which is good because we can save on heating the school which means more money in the bank!!--the school has been going 1 year now and we look on target to clear all the outstanding arrears from a slow start caused by not getting ready in time last september. We missed the start of year influx but this year we are flying!! we just have to slave hard to earn the cash to pay off the tradesman in our personal 'life'--i made another installment payment to the designers today so just 7 more months to go!!-just in time for getting the summer hols cash ready in june!
Wishes to all that need on this day and have a good day to those that are in good spirits! G xxmfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
Morning my lovelies
Getting fed up of the sniffs now. Bought some anti histimine tablets yesterday, can't say they're doing much cop <rollseyes>
Popping up to my local Tesco this morning. I've been told the Coca Cola Truck is going to be there with Father Christmas etc. Its the only place it's going to in the West Midlands apparantly so am really hoping it's not tooooooooo busy
DD is being a total PITA. She's thoroughly unpleasant at the moment with her behaviour so she'll be lucky to survive the day. She woke at 4.30am and wouldn't go back off, screaming, woke DS. H ended up getting up with her as he's off sick today poor sod. He can have a nap later.
No idea about tea as H not really eating proper meals at the mo so it might be something quick and easy
esmf - really hope your roof is covered xx
juliapenguin - never mind, today a new day so start afresh with the OS ways
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.
Edited to add:
Lots of hugs and vibes for Molly, I hope you're home from hospital soon xxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all. Good luck, esmf73, hope it's covered!
I'm feeling veryyyy lazy, it was a real struggle to drag myself out of bed just now despite falling asleep on the BF before 11 and snoring my head off all night  A big coffee is called for, then to kick my bum into gear and get some work done before uni!
I'm off to brixton tonight to see some bands with stupid names, the tickets are already paid for and assuming i just spend £5 on my travel card and £1 on a drink when i get out, it won't be that expensive a night. I'm looking forward to going back to bed alreadyLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
morning all!
(((hugs))) to Molly x
esmf - hope you manage to get your roof sorted!
off to work later. Didn't sleep well as was worried about DH.:( He felt ill yesterday evening and was worried himself - he has a history of heart disease. He went to work this morning as he has no cover atm, luckily its his half day so he should be home soon. I'm hoping it was because he rushed around such a lot yesterday and got very cold when we went racing and not the sign of anything more serious.
OS - have moved the sofa and chairs in the lounge and cleaned the laminate underneath and hoovered the rugs. Got a big pile of ironing to do before I go to work. Lunch is HM veggiesoup - leftovers. Dinner will be something easy from the freezer for DH and DS, mine will be a jacket spud at work.
JackieG - I need to get back on my diet too, had 3 weeks off it and put several pounds back on so will be trying to shift those again before Christmas.
have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Good Morning All
Havn't been on here for aaaages. Been MIA as been quite ill and spent a few days in hospital and last week just doing nothing. A lot better now, still not 100% but have hospital appointments coming up so hopefully will get sorted.
OS has been quite lacking recently but starting to get back to normal now. Have loads to catch up on, office & house wise but not overdoing it. Am also doing a few hours on my new job everyday so need to get back organised. Can't believe its nearly the end of November already
Off out to order our turkey later so that will be one thing off the to do list.
Anyway, hope everyone is OK (((hugs))) wherever needed.x0 -

Morning All,
And a lovely morning it is too, which is just as well seeing as I finally gave up on sleep at 4 am  so got up & put some washing on, managed to get 3 loads done by the time it was light enough to go on the line & it's all blowing nicely. Also got the dw done, made some bird cakes, and a sausage casserole for tea tonight. Downside is my body now thinks it's time for lunch & a napFirst though I'm going to go & make up the beds that have been airing all morning & close the upstairs windows as it's starting to feel a tad fresh in here now I've sat down.
esmf73. Hope you find your roof is covered.
EssexGirl Nice to see you back.
Hugs hi5's & spoons all round.
Keep warm everyone.
Ooh just seen the coca cola ad. The holidays are coming :j:T

Morning peeps
bit late posting today but i just knew that if i sat down at the pc then i`d have a job getting up and doing all my jobs
I`ve not been sleeping too well again so i was up until gone 2am filtering and bottling wine, the good news is that i now have 20 bottles finished :j
I got up at 630am and started off four more demijohns so we should have plenty for ChristmasI`ve spent the rest of the morning putting things away, its amazing how many things end up in different places to where they normally live. I`ve sorted out two big cupboards and i have another to do and then i need to get lots more paperwork sorted that i found hidden away.
Tea tonight is roast pork with all the trimmings - i also need to start off a chilli for tomorrow and may as well start the cottage pie that i need to make too. Better check on the spuds first though as i`m not sure if we have enough or not.
I`ve some golden sultanas soaking in tea and brandy ready to put in a crumble and i need to prep the slowcooker for tonight as i shall make some more dogfood, i`ve just taken the last tub out of the freezer and i hate to run out.
In fact i`ll check the spuds now as if i do need some now would be the ideal time to pop out and get some.
Esmef - Good luck with your house roof *crosses fingers*
Molly - Hope that you`re home and well soon.
Essex Girl - Great to see you back and nice that you are on the mend, take it easy x
Have a lovely day peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Morning All!
Started my new job last night, first day was okay, it's pretty simple work but will just get my head down and work hard at it. Got an interview on Thursday, really want to prep for that and be amazing.
Going to job hunt this morning and try and sort the house out a bit.
Dog is in a sulk because i didn't give him any of my toast this morning. Will take him out for walk in a little while.
Have a lovely day all.

Morning all!
Am a slow starter this morning, get up and go is MIA! Have done the washing, cleaned the kitchen, and a big pot of chicken broth is bubbling away nicely. Hairdressers at 12 o'clock, then do some bits of shopping, in between tending to the invalid DD, funny how they make worse patients as they get older!
Big hugs to all!RIP Iain
