  • We have sprout gratin! Cook sprouts as normal, then shred. Lightly fry some red onion, and add the shredded sprouts to them. Then mix with single cream, put in dish, sprinkly freshly grated paramesan on top and grill or bake until bubbling! I'm salivating at the thought!!!!! :j

I'm still trying to decide on our christmas menu. I'm cooking for 4 adults, 2 teens and a 15 month old!

Will be usual Turkey with all the trimmings but not sure on whether to have starter or not and what to get in for puddings. Got a christmas pud but apart from that i'm stumped. All trying to decide on what nibbly bits to get in.

    Ooooh decisions, decisions!

    Hi,

I'm cooking for 6 this year, never done Xmas dinner for that many. It's me, OH, my parents & his parents. Me & my parents want starters but rest don't so I'm doing prawns & melon for us. Then turkey with all the trimmings, very well done veg for his parents & crispy veg for the rest of us. The puddding my parents like Christmas pud but the rest don't so making an apple & blackberry crumble for the rest of us with Bailey's ice cream. Fingers Crossed
