***The A Fixed % of Money Left After Bills Goes On Debt Challenge***

  • 66% exactly Woo.

You don't have to set your target to be so that you are debt free by Dec 2011 (I know that's your aim) but for the purpose of this challenge you could say you wish to pay 45% which would be £580...

That way the challenge works for you and you just need to find an extra £271.69 in any way possible!

I will keep it at 66.5% and just see how close I get each month! I don't mind failing as long as I get to my ultimate goal next Dec :)

  • Ok my target for the trial (dec 2010) is 100% debt reduction (meaning £571.72), but then can I change my target after the trial pretty please?!

Of course!! I will add this on - let me know when it's changing xx

  • I think that as long as we have an aim in mind it will work. We all want our debt gone and although I have been watching what I spend - it doesn't seem to be dropping. I think this will make me pay more money off and checking in with you guys helps me loads - we are all just in one place now (and not taking up all of Woo's board space :rotfl:) xx

    Reporting for duty sir!

Ok, this one is a bit tough for me as I am *hopefully* due to become debt free within the next few months, yay! However, what I would like to do is make my target a savings target if that's ok?

My budget spreadsheet now says that my 'remaining' income is just over £600 after my bills (blimey, that's huge!) taking into account my pub wages as well. I will aim for 60% going to savings if I may? That way, even if I quite the pub I am still aiming to put 60% of whatever my new left over money is :D.

I will do my update on the last working day of every month

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

    Hi Jody

What's the first thing your saving for, the Maldives?
