  • Well a lot of stuff on there didn't interest me. Was interested in the xbox and a few other bits as they would be nice for the price.

Bit gutted as missed out on Take That as wanted that for my mum but did get my OH main present (I can write what it is on here as he'll nosey!). Also as another bonus he also spotted something else he wanted for xmas and so I had a search on the internet and got a much cheaper version on another site meaning his xmas presents are now done! :-)

Have to agree the forum threads on amazon were very entertaining :-)

Flip MINO arrived this morning. Just got it out to test it, and its completely dead. Won't turn on, won't charge or anything.

Silly question - have you put batteries in or checked the battery pack is in correctly?

No intent here to be insulting, I made the same mistake with mine

Looks like I've been charged full for two out of two items I bought in the Black Friday deal. Really !!!!ed off about it and very bad for Amazon to do this and not sort it out.

I took snap shots of the pages as proof but when the email confirmations have come through they've put them a full price!!!! I called up to enquire and have been told the same thing every time, that someone from the 'Lightning Team' will be in touch. Well nothing yet and yet the items are dispatched.

This happened to my husband, he was on the phone to amazon for ages but got it sorted in the end. Later on he spotted something somewhere on amazon saying there were some issues for people who were using Chrome and some price comparison software (or something!!) which he was.

I was really happy with the week, and managed to buy some great items:
Nigella books, Wii, Kitchen Aid, Nappies, Wii Broadway Dance Game and a memory card. :)

Thought it was a great week - managed to get all most all of our xmas shopping done plus some goodies for ourselves.

My husband's drill and the 90 piece set came today. All looks well.

One of the soap kits arrived - good size box but oooohhhh does it stink...lol. It was packaged with the drill so he'll have a pretty smelling drill for awhile...lol.

Also, the picture frame collage arrived and I was so worried about it being smashed but as it was in a box with other items it was better protected. Very good size-wise so pleased with that.

Also, the shopping list game came which looks good.

Saw the delivery van and it was loaded with Amazon boxes.
  • Only £50!!
And their system let you bundle a free game and hdmi cable. :rotfl:

Somebody reckons this wasn't allowed under their terms & conditions,
but if they offer a £145 item for £50 then it should come with everything the £145 one would have.

Anyway, all items say they are ready for dispatch so that's a result. :rotfl:
Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.

Definitely a good buy, if you managed to get one. I didn't :(

Amazon seem to be telling people that subsequently phone up to try & bundle it that you can't add other deals, although it didn't say that in the T&C for Black Friday.

I'll wait until I see the items safely dispatched tomorrow before upping a screenshot.
