Yes, came with many people trying to buy a small number of the same item. As a rule, if you opened up a new tab/window, you'd see if the item was still for sale or sold out. It was usually sold out.

Begs the question then if the item was sold out then should it not have said 'Sold Out' rather than 'Queue' for an hour and then just 'Expired'

It usually did, but occasionally things got "stuck" which I guess is down to huge numbers on the website.

go out and get some sunshine !!!!!!

Ah yes I remember now. That's what I used to do before the Amazon Black Friday sale started :o
  • Looks like I've been charged full for two out of two items I bought in the Black Friday deal. Really !!!!ed off about it and very bad for Amazon to do this and not sort it out.

I took snap shots of the pages as proof but when the email confirmations have come through they've put them a full price!!!! I called up to enquire and have been told the same thing every time, that someone from the 'Lightning Team' will be in touch. Well nothing yet and yet the items are dispatched.
  • Just checked my bank and credit card and yes they've charged full price even though I have screengrabs of the checkout with the cheaper price.

the same happened to me and they did eventually refund the difference back to me, I also cancelled an order that I noticed they had charged me full price for and surprisingly they have agreed to let me reorder it at the discounted price - so dont give up!!

Lol. I love how Amazon's comparison system is a bit screwed now!!

The "people who bought this also bought.." and "What do customers ultimately buy after viewing this item?" are a mess!!

Normally it would be similar items etc.. but now it's totally random!

I was trying for the 40 inch Sony as we've been looking for a while. Didn't get the sony so plumped for this one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003JMECZU/ref=oss_product

    Ordered it yesterday.

Only shortfall is that the Freeview is not HD :(

You'll need an external source to watch anything in HD

missed out on the xbox deal last night, how mcuh did they go for? but i was down the pub so it wasnt all bad.
Just a thought, having spent yesterday at great ormand street hospital with my daughter, if anyone does have anything that dont want, they coudl send it to great ormand street, alot of the children wont ever leave that hospital for the rest of there life let alone christmas. real humbling experience seeing those poor little kids and puts alot into perspective. I'm sure its the same situation with hospitals up and down the country especially childrens wards....

On a lighter note i think its been a stroke of genuis from amazon, it does seem many people have snapped things up because it was a so called deal and it ddint look like a lot of discount was applied to them. I managed to get the philips living colours lamp, missed out on the black friday deal but a third party seller also reduce there price so snapped up one of theres. other than that i didnt really see anything other than the consoles that really grabbed me...
