    evening everyone :hello:

went to collect my chandelier today.. only to find that there were a couple of droplets missing.. so I got it for £20 :j:j which is a super-top bargain :D:D So DH and I have been making plans to decorate our bedroom. Very exciting!! We've been here nearly 3 years, and it hasn't been done for about 20 years I think, so it's well overdue.

I've just made a load of twinks hobnobs; I'm providing the biscuits for after church tomorrow, and the house smells fab ;)

Not too much else, am making the most of DH being here and in a great mood :rotfl::cool:;)

Nice to see you back 1stepcloser

Hope everyone is cosy in this cold weather

Two timing the LSB...after waiting SIX YEARS for a 'bite'? Hardly Kaz!:p:rotfl:;););)

Had a l-o-o-n-g telephone call with him which will have to suffice for our date this weekend; was expecting to have to see less of him over the winter *sigh*

An Amazon parcel came so have wrapped MY bit of what was in it - the other item was for the LSB to give to his dad for xmas, after I told him that the book he was looking at in smiths would be cheaper on Amazon...
am quite surprised that I am having to educate a Yorkshireman in the ways of MSE but there you go...
While I was at it I wrapped about 15 other items, with the intention of thwarting the Vallikids when they go a-hunting, though I fear it may be too late...
was it REALLY only a few years ago that I could have a HEAP of gifts in the bedroom and cover them with a sheet safe in the knowledge that the kids wouldn't even NOTICE them?
    *sighs deeply*

    Nice pic Mummyoffive...

  • Evening all. I've left it all to do tomorrow as usual, though I did clean the bathroom on Monday.

Have managed not to vandalise any cars today...hugs spoons and sticks as approriate.

Lil me - My Defender (with BFG offroads on) skidded a couple of times today and we have less than an inch . The Mazda will be staying at home .

We have stripped the boys bedroom today, two new bunk beds installed. It looks like something out of Bad Girls. Several bags of junk removed form under old beds. Humph.

  • I've had a couple of skids in the [STRIKE]gaylander[/STRIKE] freelander today. Hardly any snow, but it froze last night.

lil me - hope things pick up for you soon my dear

I'm off to Keswick in a pod in June.

In a pod like a pea in a pod in the field in the countryside in the fresh air listening to Wimbledon and climbing the hills - can't wait!
