Bluddy hell Piggers...you got higher rate for both girls...I'm glad, hopefully you can put the money to good use against their shoe prices and giving them those experiences that they haven't been able to have yet considering their Dad doesn't contribute a penny, good job there is help available eh, he'd have had you all in the poor house!

Part of his 'clean break' for the divorce was that he does pay maintenance for 2 years.. I guffawed and snorted he doesn't pay anyway so it is no odds to me

Have you sorted the house out and that loan he tried to take out against the house?

He isn't working now so a loan is impossible.. if it was something old it is solely in his name therefore his responsibility as he has not lived here for almost 2 years there is little chance it would cause issue for me.

Re the mobility car...with people losing their jobs and many, many departments having their budgets slashed, I would advise that you don't take too much time making a decision on your car, it may not be an option in the near future. I know of a few people who cannot claim or get any help despite their disabilities and caring responsibilities.

If we don't get it for whatever reason it doesn't matter we won't miss what we have not had.

I'm sick to death of hearing that this project has closed or that support has no money and so can't offer really desperate people any help.Unfortunately it appears this is just the beginning....I did wonder where the government (**spits**) found that £7billion to help Ireland...but there is no money for victims of D.V., children with Autisic Spectrum behaviours, families struggling with life threatening illnesses etc, etc.

    odd that isn't it? ;)

Work is workish, loads of unsettled colleagues due to cutbacks etc. For those who don't know I work in the public sector, or rather whats left of it.

We had a meeting with Job Centre Plus a few weeks ago, the changes that are coming are quite terrifying really, very draconian. Again, for those who are out of work the expectations do not match the job opportunites...I worry and wonder !!!!!! will happen.:(

    Anyways....

OH is marching on with the back bedroom, a bit at a time when he gets in every night, really proud of his efforts.

Apart from that not much else to report, trying to work out next months budget, would like to keep spending to a minimum HA!!

I'm actually finding it really hard to think what people might want for chrimbo, got a blank head and a vacant stare most of the time...:rotfl:

Excellent news re the bedroom.. :D Are you enjoying your new room?.. Not that I want details.. lol.. I just meant as a room do you love it? I love mine.. even though it is rammed with baby stuff and christmas stuff and I look forward to January and turfing 90% of the stuff out!

Tesco arrived and everything put away.. good job I am superb at getting lots of stuff in small spaces.. they are both squished full.. and the fridge.. and the tins.. and I have 4 tesco crates of christmas gubbins!

Freja is being much more civilised today.. currently having a nappyless wriggle in her cot.. towel and changing mat under her so she doesn't wet the mattress.

OH has prepared chickens for dinner.. Just need to flick the oven onwhen we get baack from school.. Moomin is going to her friends tonight so we can go in the car.. I need to wrap Tiddles birthday present.. I'll do it now actualy while I have 5 minutes.. :D

Thanks everyone for your supportive comments, it means a lot to me.
Today has been a rough one so far its now nearly 3pm and all I have done is have some lunch and chatted with my cousin. Could not wind down properly last night so it was the early hours this morning before I got to sleep. I really should not let people wind me up so much but it just struck me at the wrong time and boom off I went.

Today I am torn between doing my living room which is in total chaos or working on my assignment. Think maybe some flying first will help me relax and study easier.

<<sigh>> Just drained the chicken stock into the sink and down the drain instead of into a bowl in the sink....... not the first time it's happened either. Doh!

Well my HHC went a bit awry. Mum turned up after five minutes so I was 'forced' to sit down and drink coffee with her lol..

    Still I have;

    cleared clutter off the sofa,
filled up trug with sticks for fire.
Mum topped up my coal bucket,
    Cleaned out litter tray,
Took bins out with mums help,
    Washed up,
Made an appt to get my tummy button checked - my scar there doesn't seem right to me. Plus as no one has checked my wounds since the op I think it won't do any harm and I can ask the nurse about the pains I have been getting.

Now I am going to do some dusting then it will be time to get coffee and sit down and read through my assignment and see where I need to develop it, closely followed by a divine hot deep bubbly bath when the water warms up.

    Off i dash... xx

Yes...but hubby wants us to move into the back room asap...I don't want to, it smells new and fresh and despite my compost heap as hubby calls it (a smallish pile of clothing) its still tidy.:D

Just taken DD2 to docs as she has an abcess in her mouth and cheeks, she now has antibiotics.

Sent the wrong item to an ebay buyer :doh:so got to sort that out, I cannot figure out how I managed to do that.

    And I smell snow....big time.:snow_laug

Piggers, did you really guffaw? I imagined that you'd have the biggest smile, squeeze your eyes tight shut for a second and say 'Quite'....when he said he's pay maintenance...:rotfl:

Think I'm opting out of the rest of today and starting again tomorrow, I think I'd better restart my medication as its clearly affecting my usually calm and serene nature, I keep trying to come off it and see how 'well' I am but I'm clearly not.

Hurrah, all done, have taken mum for her shopping, and just been to hospital to meet great aunt's consultant, she is over the pneumonia and going home on Friday, so will need to do her shopping tomorrow....so much for getting the crimbo shopping finished this week while Im on holiday! Never mind, the house is benefitting, have also just washed DDs bedding, quickly changed her bed whilst she was in the shower, tonsilitis seems to be easing a bit, she managed to declutter a milky bar pudding and huge chunk of melon a wee while ago!
