Kids in bed without a single whinge!

I slid on the LR floor this afternoon and crashed into the ironing board, sending the (luckily cold) iron falling on my foot :( Have spent all afternoon with my poor foot up and DD asking me if it's better yet every few seconds :rotfl:

DH is at work and I need to turn some leftover gammon into something yummy for his dinner, I haven't a clue what to make though.

Also want to sort through the many many boxes of Christmas presents to see what I've got and still need to get, and try and cram it all into as few boxes as possible so DH doesn't think I've bought so much (I have been buying for ages, and not paid full price for a single thing thanks to the Grabbit board, but he wont understand that!)

After all that I still need to write this chairperson report for preschool AGM tomorrow. I've made notes so it shouldn't take too long.

Has anyone on here had a 'Suitable Persons Interview' with Ofsted? I've got one at 10am tomorrow, but preschool were most confused about it as no other chairperson has had one, and I've been in the role for a year so it's a bit late to decide that I'm not suitable :rotfl: Not really sure what to expect!

Yes...but hubby wants us to move into the back room asap...I don't want to, it smells new and fresh and despite my compost heap as hubby calls it (a smallish pile of clothing) its still tidy.:D

Just taken DD2 to docs as she has an abcess in her mouth and cheeks, she now has antibiotics.

Piggers, did you really guffaw? I imagined that you'd have the biggest smile, squeeze your eyes tight shut for a second and say 'Quite'....when he said he's pay maintenance...:rotfl:

Think I'm opting out of the rest of today and starting again tomorrow, I think I'd better restart my medication as its clearly affecting my usually calm and serene nature, I keep trying to come off it and see how 'well' I am but I'm clearly not.

I was at home when I got the letter so the guffaw was necessary.. then i had to ring my mother and she asked how we would manage financially through laughing! When i went to solicitor I was most composed and smiled sweetly and said 'well it isn't like it has been paid before is it? So that makes no difference to me'

the back room will smell fresher and newer when it is done... I might need t come inspect all this hard work ;)

hugs for DD hope she is mended soon
on the instructions/nagging of she who must be obeyed I have to get rid of 99%of my list so I have decided I will only post 3/4 jobs for the week and see if I can do them. hope that meets with everybodies approval!!:p:p:D

In my HHC I washed, dried up and put away after tea, wiped table and replaced cloth, hoovered through downstairs, wiped sofa and chairs, de-cluttered LR, emptied and folded down dry stuff from TD, filled WM with cushion covers from LR, put away DH camping kit (will need to hang tent on washing line tomorrow) and made the children put away their toys upstairs. Phew. I'm pleased to have got it all done.

I did the dailies earlier but hadn't got anything else done as I went into town and FINISHED MY YULE SHOPPING!!!:j DH just has to pick up some Lego sets and tell me what books he wants me to order for his gift. I just need to knit 2 strawberries for DSister to finish her gift and then I'm wrapping. It was chaos in town today and I was sooo pleased that I am spared having to another trip.

Jenagain please take it easy, slow down.:o

    Hugs and spoons. x
