- Thursday I'll do DD's room while she's at school (maybe my room)

Nicki I am exhausted reading your post! You are amazing!
Mondays list completed! :j0 -
I managed to do my bathrooms and they are sparkling clean. Unfortunately the shower head in the kids bathroom is not behaving itself so I'll have to go to the DIY shop tomorrow.
Study is DH's responsibility - it's more than my life is worth to get involved.
Busy day tomorrow with my homestart course and swimming lessons straight after school. Sandwiches made for the morning. My bed is calling me. Goodnight all.

Evening all! Thanks to all for your kind thoughts. Didnt quite make the list today, did blitz the bathroom at silly o'clock, but spent most of the morning with mum, who's really upset. Losing a husband, sister, nephew and now brother in one year has been very hard on everyone, but she's feeling so guilty as she didnt see him before he was too ill to remember- uncle lived in New Zealand and she couldn't face the trip alone. I now have DD in bed with tonsilitis, swallowing penicillin and paracetamol and whimpering a lot! Never mind, managed to declutter a chicken carcass into the stockpot so chicken soup tomorrow! Big hugs to all..RIP Iain

need to make some to do lists tomorrow and find some more sruff for charity shop nighty night samx0 -
Evening all!
1. Woke up before my alarm - someone parks his van outside mine at night, rather than his own place, then proceeds to rev the engine for 5 minutes at 5 to 6 every morning before driving off.
2. Mildly shocked Bloke and DD come downstairs to be met with me making them tea and toast (not my usual behaviour!). Decluttered them both to the bus stop and marmalade on toast for myself.
3. Decided to go up for shower. Sat on bed. Woke up at 10.30am when the electrician started testing the smoke alarms (they were faulty, going off without any reason). The Bloke had left me asleep on the bed and dealt with it himself
4. Booked SKY reinstallation visit (it looks rubbish, so they are coming back to shift it).
5. Wandered off into town in search of lampshades that fit low energy light fittings. Needed 5. Came back with one very sparkly one instead of the plain ones I was supposed to be getting them.
6. Came back as Bloke went to meet DD from drum lessons. Home alone at last! Assembled lampshade and put up in landing.
7. Got text from KH. He's in hospital with septicaemia and is hoping the doctor can save his thumb/hand , having not cleaned a cut up properly a month ago. Sent a pleasant, concerned text back (I am SUCH a deceitful old bag!) and made sure DD knew he wasn't very well, and topped up her phone so she could send him a message.
8. Baked a perfect Victoria Sponge with DD without argument, hostility or murdering her. I don't bake (last time I made a cake, I was about 13), and she never spends time with me without having a go at me about something. Bloke was so surprised, he sneaked in with a camera and took pictures of us getting along.
9. Finished just in time for KH to text her to say that surgery was OK, he still had all his fingers and thumbs and is going to be discharged tomorrow. Waved a happy, cake filled DD off to bed.
10. All I have to do now is deal with mother tomorrow, buy DD1 an 18th birthday present (seeing as she hasn't spoken to me more than twice in over 6 months, am I being reasonable in only sending her a bottle of pink champagne and a card, rather than spending the £200 I would have done had she been here still? and remember to get mum's birthday card for the day before DD1's 18th, before meeting her in town to bring her here for the first time.
Sigh. And this was an easy day.
But my cake is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Well I've not flown high tonight but have bimbled, heated tea for DP & I (who is definately impressed with the acquiring of corned beef pie) did some laundry, then DP & I snuggled on the sofa with a film which was really nice. Of course I managed to mention isn't it nice to have sofas not full or parp....pah I'm not that silly, know a good mood to hint at when I see one
Can't believe after feeling so tired all day that I'm sat here wide awake whilst DP snores .... Oh well another training day tomorrow, just hope it's better than today's which was boring, simplistic and not something worth the money they're being paid. One day I might be more organised...........
