Welcome to the thread 4 Times Mum -will send you a pm shortly. If you are going to be going out to work there will be less time for housework so you should get the children & OH to start helping now so that you all get into a better routine - not just you:D
Eltee12 good to hear you are off the AD's - I hope you stay well (((hugs)) will put you on the lurker list so you dont feel pressurised to be posting all the time - at least until you get back into it.
Holly i was wondering what you were up to - i did miss you - sounds very exciting and I hope it will be a huge success for you xx
Carlsbergraaaaaaaaaaaaaaan xxxxxxx how lovely to see you - is your house getting into better shape now that DD2 and Chloe have moved - it must seem odd - is DD2 coping ok?
Poor DD1 its really hard just now to get a job - is there nothing even part-time for Christmas? anything on her CV will prove that she is a tryer! even voluntary work (someone i know here recently was turned done against something like 150 people and was told to go and get a job in a charity shop or similar as next time it would give him 'bonus points'!!)
Great news about Danny - so glad that things are working out better for him and he will be a Catterick next year - it will be nice that he is home for Christmas although i suspect he will be spending loads of it with fiance so you might not see him!!!!

ETA what a wonderful avatar - she reminds me of my Gran - what a lovely lady xx
I had a nice afternoon with a lady from Church - she took me for a little walk from where we could see the town below us and then a cuppa at her house - she is as mad as a box of frogs so we had a great time - not much flying done apart from retreiving my soggy washing that has been out for 2 days - today's lot never got out at all - maybe tomorrow.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

I've got 6 snowflake tree decorations to make now if i've got enough beads and then if i've got enough time a windchime. That is going to be very interesting as i've never made one before but two people have asked for one so i'd better try.0 -
Hi everyone,
am surrounded by dry washing - so HHI at 7.30 anyone?
Boddy - my thoughts were with you today, now be kind to yourself for as long as you need to.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
I've finished the oven unit cupboards top and bottom.
Cooked and eaten dinner.
Loaded DW and wiped surfaces.
I've set the traps with peanut butter and closed the cupboard door!
DH has just made a nice cup of tea so I'm going to watch tv for a while.

about DH's job? not yet
I hate waiting!! Thanks v much for asking though
Am getting through the extras too - done all the ironing there is (apart from the load that's in the WM now, so the ironing board is staying up until that's done). Cooking tea now (roasted veggies), while the dog is having yelpy dreams on the sofa
:D. Fire is lit, and I'm going to have a glass of something red while I wait for the dinner.
Glad things went as well as they could today Boddy. Hugs to toots, Diva, LL & LW, and anyone else that wants one. Sticks and spoons also available here

Evening all
Mudders few year ago I lined up shoe boxes, labelled them with years and sorted through all paperwork into date ordered boxes. I do have TV licence in the boxes which go from 2002 (there is a 'pre 2002' box) and now I do it every year usually. Then get rid of the oldest - this year is 2002 - some I will keep like kids stuff from reviews that goes in kids box, income tax notices etc like that in an 'income related historical' box. I will do this years between Xmas and new year, well that's the plan and go through/shred what I don't need from 2002. Some may feel unnecessary to keep for so long but I've had the bloody tax office at my door with 7 years of statements so I keep them. Anyway that's how I sort old stuff, new is in filing cabinet (or on top waiting to be sorted) but the way I store old things, boxes in a wardrobe means it won't collapse like the old one did lol
Boddy pleased Mum got a good send off, bet you all did her proud. Nothing wrong in her sending a shower to keep the flowers fresh I don't think. Bet she'd have been cursing if she was outside having a smoke and it poured down tho bless her. I had a lavender candle lit for you to hope for calm and peace x
Dusty I am so jealous over your woodpecker, such pretty birds and I have never seen one in the wild
Mrs LW and carlsbergal great news from both of you!!!
Didn't get to B&Q, traffic was a mare so left it and headed home - I was still late! Must remember that tomorrow and try to get away early if possible, at least DP is about tomorrow just incase.
I did bring home 4 platters of left over food, some like crunchy sandwiches the dog got but there is a full corned beef pie tray bake minus one bit and half a quiche too which will go in the freezer. Shame tomorrows order is already in or we could have reduced the catering, oh well more freezer stock. Will use the left over bhajis tonight with curry
kids have had a plate full each for tea inc a pile of fruit ... No idea what to do with the huge stack of pineapple...(fresh cut)
Not done a great deal since I got in but have spent an hour trying to balance finances
which are looking dire. My income over the next month doesn't cover my CCs nevermind the bills (been a short few months with lots of extra things needed) so I'm paying off my non interest free ones then seeing where I am. Use interest free one if I need it to cover stuff. I will stick to paying no extras in interest to anyone this year if I can help it!!!!
Oh nearly forgot I met a little brave boy who is 4 today and he made my heart melt. Severe cerebral palsy, heart problems, bowel problems, you name it he's been through it. Counting my blessings as he made me smile so much when he giggled away. One day I might be more organised...........

Yum - one of my favourites. You can chop it and freeze it I think, and then use it for upside down cake or on pizza.
Holly - I love your tree decorations. Very tempted.
The DW is on so I just have my bed to make, and the boys clothes to put out for the morning. Tried to do very little today to see if it makes any difference. We even had a sneaky takeaway for dinner.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Good evening

Boddy - glad today went well. Love the new avatar :T
